If teams miss opportunities like Chelsea did at the beginning of the second half and Liverpool towards the end then I wouldn't be surprised by a penalty shootout. But I think that the teams are already seriously tired and now in 30 minutes of extra time someone will make a mistake. At the moment Liverpool look much closer to scoring a goal.

Really dissapointed with the match i was expecting lots of goals between these two teams but they just didnt make a show today.
We are now in extra time and still not mich is hapoening in the game and i think we will see penalties in this duel

Second half has been Reay amazing, lots of chances and lots of balls on the cross bar. Personally, I have a feeling that, the R. Lukaku substitute Ziyech should have have done far before Tuchel effected it. I mean if we look at it, he wasn't doing much in the attack, not in defence nor attack. As it is, Ziyech is finding it difficult to get into the game but his Challenging moment with the ball against Alexander from the Liverpool side was promising. His swift left and right is something that was missing with R. Lukaku in this game.
Again as I said earlier, Luis Diaz needs to be marked closely, his made the mkst impact in this match although, Robertson has got the best chance. I wonder how he made the bar out of that attempt. Is the Vam Dijk substitution really for the best? I truth Klopp but, I don't know what to make of this!

It hasn't been very enjoyable to see no goal so far but there is still a nice competition between them. It is extra time and I wonder whether my prediction will won. I thought like it would end in a draw and Chelsea would defeat Liverpool after extra time. But so far the game tells me the opposite as Liverpool have found many more chances. But we are talking about a team like Chelsea here too. They know how to deal with this kind of very strong teams well. Let's see if they'll make it.

The 90mins has ended and officially into the first Half of the extra time. When the match started, there was much expectation that Liverpool will win, but as it stands now, it is obvious that any of them can win the match.
Jurgen Klopp seems to have chosen the champions league over this FA cup as expected. This is because Salah is out since, Keita is odd too and now Van dijk is off as well. It seems that Van dijk has slight shift in the thign and Klopp doesn't want to risk it the more. This match is very much open for any club to win now.

The first half of the extra time is over and the game  is still nil to nil.looking at what is happening in the seconds half of the game Liverpool is still struggling a way out but the Blues refuse to accept defeat, I  think  the game is a tougher one for Liverpool today.looking at their possession in the both half of the game Liverpool is doing more better than the Blues. I think the game will end up with a penalty shot out where I will be seeing Liverpool defeating their rival and lifting up the Emirates FA Cup tonight.

Yup it looks like it.  The match is getting dull now towards the end with just a couple of minutes to go.  The match was decent tho.  I mean it lacked some moments in front of the goal but if you enjoy Liverpool's press, that's always a delight.  And I enjoyed watching Luis Diaz play too...  He kinda reminds me of Eden Hazard.  Such a good signing by Klopp.

Edit:  Reading Diaz's wiki.  It was Tottenham that was interested in him first but then Liverpool hijacked the deal.

Both team missed some good chance to score. Yeah, I think aslo match will be settled in penalty.I think both team can be win in penalty. Cz both team goal keeper are talented. But current from Allison is more better today match.waiting for exactly what happen. But my prediction goes to Liverpool. I hope Liverpool will win in penalty and win FA Cup Final.

Unfortunately the match has not found a winner in 90 minutes of normal time, and now both teams have to continue the match with 2x15 minutes of extra time to determine who has the right to win the trophy, I think in the extra round maybe no goal scored so that later the penalty will be decisive, if Today FA final continues with a penalty, certainly no different like this season's repeat of the Carabao Cup final which also brought together Liverpool and Chelsea until Liverpool finally won with a score of 11-10, maybe we will see that happen again today.

So sad for blues, cause I'm a blue fan, it's been a huge loss for the team this season, making them go trophyless this season. Liverpool have been a great rival for the blues this season. I wasn't expecting the reds to lift the Trophy due to some privilege Liverpool has against Chelsea. Any way congrats to Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp on their second trophy this season. They still had one more final to play which is the toughest game of all, the champions league. The game won't be an easy one for the reds because they are facing one of the strongest team in Spain, real Madrid.

It was such an amazing rivalry between Chelsea and Liverpool that I totally enjoyed it. I would be happier if we saw some goals in regular time too but at least the penalties were just great. Liverpool hardly managed to get the title by defeating Chelsea 6-5 in total. It is a deserved title too I think because Liverpool have been the better playing side most of the time in the game. Chelsea tried to achieve the title by penalties but they failed. I still appreciate the efforts of both of them of course.

Chelsea never seizes to amaze me! Another disappointing game from Chelsea and T. Tuchel. I don't know but, I feel Tuchel was just trying his chances in this game with Liverpool. He had little confidence in winning tonight and he didn't. You can imagine the C. Pulisic, Loftus Cheek substitution and R. Barkley substitution, a clear indication of a trier and error sub or though, I must commend his courage in taking off Loftus Cheek the moment he realised Loftus Cheek wasn't making any impact. From his first touch, the errors were there and it continued in his all round attempts on the ball.

Either way, Chelsea shouldn't have let this be the case for them this season. Loosing 2 cups to the same team in a penalty shootout this season. First was A. Kepa in the EFL and today its Mount in the FA Cup. The penalty was so poorly taken and such a waste to Mendy's gift of a second go at the penalties.

Congrats to Liverpool,  2 cups already and they've still got the Champions League to battle Real Madrid over.

Congratulations to Liverpool for qualifying as winners. It was quite tense as they were overwhelmed for more than 90 minutes of play without a goal, indicating that Chelsea complicate every attack launched. All ended in a penalty shootout, Liverpool are now still under the burden of the Champions League final and also have to perform optimally in the Premier League, a struggle that is quite tiring for them this month.

A very sad day for Chelsea and Tuchel again. Going to two finals and not winning any in the same season is not cool at all. The match was a very tense one as both team did perfectly well to secure a win for themselves throughout the 120minutes which ended in deadlock. I wouldn’t say one  team is better than the other, but the lucky ones Liverpool won the game in the penalty shootout, penalties are meant for the lucky ones most times.
Liverpool will now be more prepared for the finals ahead of them, winning a treble this season wouldn’t be a bad one for them but will make a nice history for them and klopp.

Congrats to liverpool and Klopp. You guys deserve dis FA Trophy. Liverpool had recharged their strength to lift up EPL and UCL trophies. By all means, quadruple for Liverpool might be inevitable, two trophies down, two trophies left to go. Liverpool have done a double on Chelsea this season. Despite the actual result - a goalless draw and a penalty shoot-out, one cannot say that it was a boring final. The only thing that upset me was this extra time - it seemed that the teams went out to wait 30 minutes for a penalty shootout and did not really try.
Now I can congratulate Liverpool - this expectation brought victory to them, and sympathize with Chelsea.

It was a boring game with no goals. Neither team seemed interested in it. Liverpool is basically out of the competition, but will focus all their efforts on the Champions League this season. They must be happy that they at least have this trophy now. Then at least they were able to get 1 prize. Against Madrid they have also good chances. But winning with penalties is not really convincing.
