Manchester united wasn't favourite for the match, Brighton was master class in the game. They show class and were more organized than Manchester united. Luck run out of them . we're waiting for the super Manchester derby in the FA cup finals. It will be tough for both team, I can't decide who's favourite for the cup. Till the very day of the finals.

Brighton played a lot better then Manchester United in my opinion and if they gave wins based on public opinions, then Brighton would have won the game. They definitely were more organized with their accurate passes as well as having more of the ball in their possession. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t utilize all that to score a goal so it wouldn’t have gone into penalties.

I’m happy for Manchester United as they’ve qualified yet again to play in the finals of the FA cup. Having won by penalties, some would say they were lucky. I think a win is a win.
Now, they’ve got to seriously prepare themselves to face an elite team in the finals. It would be an interesting game to watch.

Somewhat disappointing that we saw no goals at all in the FA cup match between Brighton and United. There was no score in extra time either, so we will start the penalty kicks in a bit. I think both teams have an equal chance of going through as they both have good players, they are not Brighton amateurs. It might be a disappointment if United are both eliminated in a week in the EL and FA cup. But the final against city would be a nice poster.

Brighton were very unlucky in the match against Man Utd today they had the better chances of scoring thanks to DeGea who made some brilliant saves during the normal time, it was an entertaining and very competitive match in which Brighton were played with confidence through out the whole 90 minutes including the extra time unfortunately Brighton missed their penalty played by March who played above the woodwork, however I don't think Man Utd stand any chance of defeating Man City in the finals going by the City brilliant performance in recent matches and are aiming for treble in FA Cup, EPL trophy and UCL trophy.

Terrible penalty by Solly March but somebody has to be the fall guy otherwise we’d be going on all night. Should be a good final, an all Manchester Derby. City will be favourites but anything can happen in a final. Two trophies and a top 4 finish would be a good first season Ten Hag.

Penalties are like lottery, there is some luck involved but it is enough that one or two players are not mentally stable and they are losing the match.
I really wanted to see Brighton winning this one but having Manchester derby in FA Cup final have a special meaning for both clubs.
Man City is heavy favorite to win and I am waiting to see early odds for this match but there is time until June 3 when final is scheduled.

@Lordhermes this was an incredible semi finals match and I personally felt that Brighton deserved to win, and even though I’m a Manchester United fan but yet I really felt sorry for all the Brighton fan’s. Also when it went to penalties I thought that Manchester United would miss as they often miss, but all the player’s stepped up well to take their penalty kick but overall they need to improve their performances if they want to beat City in the final’s.

A good match by Brighton and Manchester United, I think both of the goal keepers are show a good performance. If they're make a good saves, it's either Brighton or Manchester United will score a goal and penalty would not happen.

I still wonder why Ten Hag tend to let Martial or Weghorst to play at center forward position rather than Rashford, Rashford usually more successful when he was play at center forward position rather than at left winger position.

Maguire is suspended, it is why he isn't in the line up. Good news for Manchester United supporters who see him as the cause of their problems.

The unpleasant thing about a game that has to end on penalties is seeing the team that played better but get knocked out, both teams have very accurate penalty shooters and also a goalkeeper who doesn't have a good history of saving penalties so it all depends on their shooters, but unfortunately, Solly March was the only shooter from Brighton who failed and the United shooter was able to shoot well under quite a lot of pressure as it looked like Brighton were the favorites seeing how the crowd were in their favor.

The final between the two teams from Manchester looks like it will be a win for City because United did not show sharpness in attack against Brighton in contrast to City, whose main striker always gets good assists from midfielders, so I see that United are not the favorites in the final later.

The game Manchester United played yesterday is quite different from their pattern in EPL. Harry Maguire was benched and this was a good decision cuz I think it wouldn't have ended that way if he was featured in the match. Though Manchester United went through hell before winning was possible, I still have little hope that their game in the finals will be more coordinated than what we saw yesterday. If only they can fix their defense, I'm sure they will have good ball play against Manchester City.  We shouldn't judge their future from Ye111sterday's performance

Brighton lost yesterday's match due to a slight mistake. After the first 90 minutes of play, when the match was goalless, the match referee and the captains of both teams decided to extend the playing time. And accordingly some extra time was added to the match but neither team was able to score.  Penalties were then chosen to decide the win or loss of this match. 
When the penalty shot was decided, the first five goals were successfully scored by both teams. But when a Brighton player missed a penalty while kicking the next two goals, Manchester United seized the opportunity to book their place in the FA Cup final. Brighton had a great performance on the field but they couldn't come back with a win which is unfortunate for them but they did a great job on the field.

I am still residing on your line that says #no other team in the premier league can compete with them now. Hope u know that Brighton whom they couldn't win throughout 90 minutes time of play, is also an EPL team.   Manchester United lucky win yesterday doesn't excite me in anyway and I will not give more credit to them than they deserve. There is probably a few who think MU would win so the bookmakers are already generous with City @1.63 as I thought it would be around 1.4 or 1.3 considering how dominant they have been recently. The City handicap -1 at 1.96 is my likely bet here. The main question is if they will use full strength or not. If they make it to the Champions League Finals then they may rest some of their key players to prevent injuries.

Brighton really played well, I was glad seeing how they were able to dominate and possess the ball during the match, despite their lost, it wasn't a bad result because I think they play a better team that has many experience in a situation like that. Holding Manchester United draw till 120 minutes is a good result for the team. Penalty is a game of luck and the luck for that moment was with Manchester United and they have to win.  It will be interesting to watch the two Manchester club in the final , lets see who it will go .

@Merit.s Manchester United are really suffering from injured players in the team, the full back players are all injured and the midfielders are just recovering from Injury.  Erickson flopped yesterday, he's passing wasn't connecting because of injury. I just hope all injured players are fit before the final game with Manchester city.

Manchester United female team Also qualified to the Women FA cup final in the premier league women team. Truly the glorious years is returning to the club. Ten hag is doing a wonderful job in the club and I believe he will lift the league title next year.

I too liked Brightons gameplay. They were coordinated with their passes and tried to retain the ball in their possession and it showed with the general statistics on ball possession. Like you noted, Manchester United has some players missing from the squad cause of injuries.
With penalties, it’s difficult to predict a winner as it could go either way.

So I guess Manchester United was lucky to have won the game on penalties. Having qualified for the final, they’re to face Manchester City. Now, both teams on paper would seem to be evenly matched but with Manchester United’s current form, I think they’re no match for Man City. I wish Man United well but I just don’t see them winning the game. Man City is out to grab and win as much trophies as they can.
