If there will be those victims that are going to pursue suing them then they'll have to spend a lot of money for it. I've seen some the same thing in the past and you can look for those scams where the developers of it have been punished.
There's still hope for the developers to go behind the bars if the victims will nonstop cooperate and work with the authorities that will be working on this case, they're likely interpol I think.

I think people should learn basic research "how to check the legitimacy of the project"

This kind of scam project who uses another company or some people's name is breaking a law while they using without any connection with the Netflix. Netflix as the owner of Frenchies can give you an answer, by what? just email them is legit or not. If there is no connection, then should be got copy-right or broke the law using their movie franchise name.

We already have a lot report like this, If I was the scam developer with 5-10M$ do I still in my old house? No, I already running and enjoy sunset in the beach ~XD

If they join hands together and sign a petition on the project perhaps the security agency will look into it, but the important thing to note here is nobody was under durex to invest, they are willingly put their money even with the knowledge about the risk, perhaps this can serve as a lesson to many others who may still not get it, quick and easy profit can also lead to pain.

Nothing impossible. There have been scammers from the various scam project already catched by the regulators caused by they were running scam project and run away with the investor's money. The only problem was jurisdiction. So many scammers have been jailed as long as it has a good report.
I think that if they were tracked down, it would be exemplar case for other potential scamers.

What do you think about it?
So many scammers have been jailed since ICO boom in 2017 but scammers never get tired until they will be jailed. Those potential scammers will always use various way to do another trick to scam others. I have been seeing so many similar cases like squidgame cash.

it can be as long as someone reports and has strong evidence to ensnare the scammers. this has been proven when the popular ICO project used to be. many scammers are caught because of crypto scam projects. one of the big catches i ever knew was mcafee, he was one of the guys who helped many scam projects raise ICO funds, and now he is dead in jail.

This could be a hundred scam cases with million dollars loss in crypto space, so these things is usual to happen in cypto when the people invest blindly on fake projects and hype project just incase to aiming quick profits.
I'm sure the people who invested in already know the risk but they gamble their money and hoping they could left in a right time with lot of profits.
So i think it will be done until here, there will be police investigation since the cryptocurrency is not regulated and hard to track.

I'm sorry for those who lost money, but sorry if it made a lot of people feel bad. I think the point is to catch all the scammers and the scammers. Don't be selfish when you join and buy it, the main problem is ours because no one forced us to buy them. Greed and ignorance need to be paid, maybe many people feel irrational, but I think the problem is created not only from one side.

It's highly unlikely that the scammers were concerned from their home computer. Especially looking at the nature of this scam, I can say the scammers are experienced and are not first timers. So they have probably used multiple layers of identity protection through various routers.

I am not sure if police will take up this case at their own will. But if someone reports it, probably they will. But it requires cyber experts to track them down. We don't know the next course of action but if the police can bring them to justice, that will definitely set an example and I hope it happens!

Behind the huge profit potential of cryptocurrencies, there are several disadvantages of cryptocurrencies that must be considered, including being vulnerable to fraud. as happened with SquidGame tokens. and that has become a risk in the world of cryptocurrencies.
The police may arrest fraud criminals on the basis of evidence reported by the reporting party.

I think that they had thought about it before they committed this crime, so they might have used VPN, so we can't know their real IP address.
What is more, the team was anonymous and now they will just use Tornado cash to hide money from their accounts.
There were many scams and very few of them were exposed as it is really difficult to find a scammer in the crypto world.

I don't think so.

First of all, there is probably not enough money involved for there to actually be a lawsuit that is viable. Prosecution costs would simply be too high compared to the potential amount of money that can be recouped.

Also, this is not something that the SEC can classify as a security in the first place. It'll be very difficult to argue that this was securities fraud given that all they did was sell off their premine.
