Seems you already gain profit because your prediction was right cardano touched $0.17 price. I also believe that it can reach $0.3 but I don't know when it will happen maybe in the next year but predicting $1 seems it will take many years just hold cardano for long term, it is one of the potential altcoins.

You can hold the amount which you can forget for long time, spare money that you don't need to rush out when you needed some funds. Remember that if you believe that the project have strong potential, then  be ready in taking the long-term holding.

a few more days will change years, 2020 will end and Cardano price still doesn't look bullish yet,
but I believe 100% by 2021, that ADA will go over $ 1 and reach new ath like 3 years ago !, hopefully

With total supply 45 billion and coin in circulation is 31 billion its almost impossible for cardano to reach that price, $1 mean 31 billion matketcap ? It is half of ethereum matketcap. It will get there if total crypto market is above $2.5T. is it posibble ? Ask your self.

ADA is good project  for long-term investment, personally I'm a investor & holder of ADA coin.
The investor are predicted ADA coin price reach $0.30 in this year's.

if cardano skyrocketed after the fork probably $5 is already touched in just a short period of time. But unfortunately cardano failed and instead of showing a higher high and jump, it plunges and made a very hard correction and you know even other crypto were influenced by ADA during the correction such bitcoin and ETH, but afterwards ADA staying below in the support for how many days while bitcoin and ethereum bouncing back.   i was wondering why its happening wherien even the fork was successful.. So i decide to make research and yep i saw there's a problem with this project.

We've seen the hypes and more investors are interested to work with this coin and try riding with the ongoing hypes, but after some time, the interest

got lighter since there's a hole inside in which the team still needed to work more closer, still a good coin for long term investment, the development is not stopping from this concern, good for sparing some portion of your money for long term goal..

with the achievement of ATH $3.09 - Sep 02, 2021 which has not been done long ago, it can definitely be done to achieve renewable ATH. currently all are on the rise, so all altcoins are also on the way to increase.

ADA's 3.3% increase over the past week also reflects that ADA is indeed looking to improve and doesn't seem to be getting that momentum yet. we will wait for the end of this month to reach renewable ATH and to prepare towards the price of $5 by the end of the year.
