The WSOP Main Event is the biggest poker tournament in the world, there is no other.

it is an event to follow in the good summaries of ESPN, because let's face it, nobody except the players have the courage and the time to follow a game day that can be around 10 hours.

Already leaving that prologue that the "skip" should have, the important thing is to point out that this event has started today on day 1A:
497 players were registered who canceled $ 10,000 ⁽¹⁾

I have taken my 8 most important points to know from the main event or rather my summary from one of the sources that sponsor the Poker News event:

1.-Streaming available on Poker Go.
2.-This is a Deep Stack tournament with an initial stack of 60,000 and two hours per level.
3.- The tournament this year will be freezeout rules.
4.- Late registration: at level 7.
5.- About 7,500 registrations are expected which guarantees about 8 million for the winner
6.- On day 7 it will be played until the final table is reached, 9 players.
7.- On day 8 it will be played until there are only 4 players left.
8.- On the 9th we will have the winner of the most desired bracelet in the world of poker.

I read about two controversial situations to highlight of the year 2019(Main Event), I want to share them as curious anecdotes.

With just a couple of hours to start the event, two embarrassing moments occurred:

1.- A player is eliminated for stealing chips.

2.- Another player ends up violating the rules, but his subsequent behavior is very strange.

My opinion in reference to the second situation:
I think the guy was trying to remove two players who were involved in the hand with that move, (squeeze!?). One of the limp had a pair of 55 but did not know the information of the other player, so he decided to fold, the player had A3.

Nerves definitely played a bad game on him.

Anyway the levels kicked off ... we'll be keeping an eye on the flop on the turn and the river when possible in this event.

Well ... we got to the "nice" table that any poker player wants to reach when starting a tournament regardless of the buyin. Making the final table is the primary objective. But this particular final table is what perhaps for some is the pinnacle of a career that marks the Everest of poker in terms of tournaments, the final table of the main event at the WSOP.

In any case, it is worth noting that in the era of "modern" poker (XXI) similar events are held in Europe and Asia, but if you want to dream "correctly" of a final table to do it in a big way since dreaming is free, you must do it with the Main Event Final Table No-Limit Hold'em World Championship, which by the way, regardless of what happens, all 9 players are guaranteed $ 1,000,000.

The situation by country: 1 Argentine, 4 United States, 2 United Kingdom, 1 German and surprisingly a player for Turkey.

Common in this type of finals is always have one or two countries that are not frequent, in this case Turkey, since the last champion was an Argentine, a country with great traffic of players online and with important names on the green field mats.

3rd:

Blind v blind, Jack Oliver shoves with A-8, George Holmes looks him up with Q-J.

Oliver flops a pair on the 8-7-5 board but Holmes turns a J. The river brought a 9 and Oliver exits 3rd for $3,000,000.

4th

On the next hand, Joshua Remitio shoved with J-7, Jack Oliver calls with A-2. The board runs out A-T-7-4-2, ending the Main Event for the night with 3 players as Remitio walks away with $2,300,000.

5th:

Ozgur Secilmis earns $1,800,000 for his 5th place finish at the final table as his Kh-5h ran into the 9-9 of Koray Aldemir.

The board runs out AhJhAdAs8c as Aldemir holds over 277,000,000 chips, over 70% of the chips in play.

6th:

th place in the Main Event goes to Hye Park, moving all-in with 7-7 as Koray Aldemir called with A-Q. The board ran out K-8-2-Q-9 as Park collects $1,400,000.

Aldemir now has over 250,000,000 chips, more than 60% of the chips in play.

There won't be back-to-back Main Event winners from Argentina as Alejandro Lecoco finishes 7th for $1,225,000 when his pocket tens were no good as Koray Aldemir flopped a full house. Aldemir now has over 209,000,000 chips

One hand later, Jareth East moved in with A-J, George Holmes held Q-Q. The A-Q-7 flop put Holmes well in front, and East was drawing dead when a 4 hit the turn.
East departs with $1,100,000.

Chase Bianchi finishes 9th in the Main Event when his KQ ran into the AK of Jack Oliver. Neither player improves and Bianchi exits with $1,000,000.
