Being addicted to music, I've used sportify to many years. That's why I'm so surprised when I found MeMusic, the sportify in the crypto world.

It's often said that "Music is the universal language of mankind".... And incorporating music into Crypto I feel would indeed be a huge trend just as NFT'S are really big topics in crypto...who knows?? it might even trend more than what impact NFTs has created.

A lot of music crypto related before and most of them died on the early stage so I think there’s no demand yet for this one but if a big music companies started to adopt cryptocurrency, they might introduce this on a better version to create demand. Music is something that most can’t live without it, this could be a great project they just need a huge support from the public.

this is true, we have seen several projects that are exploring the music industry in this forum but don't know if they are indeed successful to their venture. haven't seen much of these singers promoting any crypto-related music platform. though we may be missing some developments here.
this year, ive seen this nftmusic.ai, the chart is going downhill, but they are starting to go up this month. don't know if they can survive for years. usually, the concept is great but when it comes to implementation and adoption, that's where they usually failed.

Spotify has a lot of users' data to keep their users engaged within the platform, not to mention there exists a community of third party apps that benefit from the Spotify ecosystem. With such massive data, I'm pretty sure they will train their machine learning to get better and able to keep the users curious exploring their music taste.

Noting how leading that platform is, I don't think any crypto-coated platform will gain any traction. What are the advantages they offer besides only using crypto buzzwords? Will the users care about the underlying tech over just simply listening to music? The idea is far from the interest of the general mainstream, at least for today.

All kinds of digital art including pictures, videos, music can be tokenized and sold as Non-fungible tokens. NFTs are unique and it gives them additional value.  As there are a lot of people who like collecting things and are mad about music, I think that NFT-music platforms will be very popular, so Memusic is likely to become as well-known as Open Sea for digital pictures.

Music is a refreshing suggestion for the brain that needs entertainment. So music addiction is not something excessive. Everyone likes music according to its genre. Coming back to the topic of the expected NFT music platform as you said, it depends on those who want to get into the crypto realm or not. Everyone loves music I guess. There are some platform that building a breakthrough about relating blockchain into music or vice versa. I saw a very interesting project called ModaDao and that's really a very highly anticipated one when it comes to nft and music collection.

So Digital is likely compatible on themes like this. Looking forward to seeing more platform combining those kind of aspect.

However, we have seen many projects involving this industry way back in 2017-2018 (I forget the project though), but nothing seems to happen or at least the hype is not there. Sportify? I'm sure that you're talking about Spotify. With the NFT trend, it is every industry in the digital world will be disrupted because of how we're engaging with the new trends. It's very likely that there will be more projects focusing in the music scene that will build their own NFTs and platforms which shall benefit the artists and as well as their users, the listeners. If there will be a platform that both benefits from it, I think it's one of the best platform that has ever been built, as we enjoy music, we also earn.

It is quite possible for them to be able to step up in the music industry. I believe that mostly it's all about hard work, as long as the team knows the exact work to do and they’re doing it and also working hard to improve their platform and promote it, it’s always going to keep  growing, and be able to compete with the big names in the music industry. But, then I think you should as well know that the big names in the industry are always watching out for any competition, and they are always aware of the latest trends there is.

So, if they start to notice a competition and also come to realize that people are now more interested in things that has to do with Blockchain, they will also be diverting into it. And since they are already well established, that would even make them more of a competition.
