Very true especially in this market where is yet not mature and is so quick in returns, even if someone has $100 to start with he can quickly reach a 1000$ just with positional trading if market remains bullish, even if market remains bearish he will be able to reach the same amount in a larger time frame but he will learn many other things which would help him become even better. At what point would I have been depends on at what point I would have started. If it was a decade ago and I invested minimum in bitcoin, then I would probably would have enough money not to worry about anything and just retire. Would have been able to own everything I wanted. I am always having people asking me whether is this right time to invest with bitcoin or it is already late. They have been asking me since bitcoin prices was reaching $1000 for the second time in 2016. I would say putting some money into bitcoin is a good enough start, rest will come. I remember the first time I ever heard of bitcoin. It was late 2012 or early 2013 and it was very cheap, I saw it as an option in a game that I played for a guy who was selling his weapon. Dude said he is willing to take paypal or bitcoin and I asked "what is bitcoin" and he redirected me to bitcoin explaining page and then here as well, I sold some stuff and got my first satoshis and even bitcoin eventually and then it lead to today.

like what I did in the beginning, where I still lacked knowledge, but felt like I wanted to invest immediately, so at first I started with a small amount according to my ability so that if I experienced a loss it wouldn't be a big burden. IMO if you are new and looking to start trading then you must start with small capital not with a huge one. This is one of biggest mistake which we made in our initial days of investment. You can also decrease your chances of loss by doing paper trading before jumping with real cash.
