If you're using VPN or TOR and such things forbidden in some gambling site they can use it in case of some disputes between you and site. Noone will block you just for using VPN, because there a lot of gambling sites and not so much users who gamble on them. So site is interested to keep you as long as it can. But if you hit jackpot, in that case i think they try to use their ToS against you.

So use canvas blocker + VPN, in that case site will don't know that you're using VPN (for honest, there still ways to catch you on using VPN). With TOR it's a lot more complicated, because it's protocol is visible to any site.

I am using VPN for some casinos, but only when I want to play Pragmatic slots! I am using some free one, and I am turning it on and off, sometimes it can be very slow, or will not load the slot page at all... Unfortunately, violation of any regulations may have consequences. It probably depends on the owner how restrictive he is when checking such details. If the casino wants to take advantage of the law guaranteed by the regulations, I am affraid that there is a high risk that you will lose money.

Violation would always be a violation and that would be having corresponding consequences on that one one the casino had seen out that you are violating the terms and conditions but as mentioned above that there were users are still playing without any problems despite of using VPN which i could say that

So it's true that even I did something like this in the TOS rules saying it's forbidden to use a VPN but I used and made small deposits/withdrawals it's fine there is no problem even though it's prohibited in the TOS and the team is like letting small users do VPN or TOR.
On the other hand, I have never won over $1000 when using a VPN and of course I will know the consequences by blocking the account and withholding the funds won, but it is still a risk where when you are very lucky when using a VPN you may have to give up the funds on hold. by the team because it will be checked further.

If a website is restricting a certain country you cannot expect them to pay you when you play and win big using a proxy, it will be against their policy even though you are a long term user. If a site is not forcing you to undergo mandatory KYC then you can overcome these restriction by purchasing a dedicated IP rather than using a random VPN or proxy that provides you with dynamic IP whenever you log in.

Some don't have the problem of using VPN yet because maybe they are winning small amount of money, but when you win big, that's when most casinos will manually check your account and find reasons not to pay your winnings. And most of the time, if you are using VPN and it is against their rules, they have very good reason to freeze your funds. You will not win on this case, even if we say, they accepted your deposit knowing you are using VPN, because they are holding your funds. The least thing they can do is maybe return your initial deposit and not your winnings, and then, block your account. But don't expect that every casino will return your initial deposit. Because there are some conditions that they have all the right to confiscate your funds if you violated their ToS. So for me, just don't play on casinos with restrictions on this matter.

If you use a VPN and the site that you play at states on their terms of services that you can't use VPN, then they have the right to confiscate your funds and close your account. Now you are going to say "why did they let me play? Why are they blocking me after winning?". They can't check each and every user and know if they are breaking their terms or not. Lots of people play and register and once, but only few tries to withdraw. Some withdrawals go through manual check (if you are unlucky) and that's how they find out if you broke their ToS or not. for sure it's something that should violate the TOS, because if there is a restriction for players from certain countries, using any tool to circumvent it, ends up going against the wishes of the site owners, and should be punished.
You need to keep in mind that if you win a big bet, most likely your account will be verified manually, the VPN could be discovered and you won't be able to cash out your winnings, and your account will be banned forever.

The first thing to do after opening a betting site or if possible to do before opening a betting site is to read their terms and conditions of their services, not reading it has got some people into trouble.

In most cases, bonuses need a required investment. For me, it's kind of super effort if the user will put deposits at those newly created accounts until they will get the bonuses. Looking at some gambling sites today, not worth the effort to abuse it.

It is true that the use of VPN is prohibited by gambling site because they can be used by people who want to trick site for personal gain. Beside being able to be used to get recurring bonuses through fake account, using a VPN also allow site users to have multiple account with their own referral. Gambling providers usually prohibit users from accessing them for legal reasons. Multiple accounts would really need to require on having lots of IP's to be used for them not too be traced on on abusing website promotions and bonuses and this had been a common reason on most people do use of VPN or Tor for them to at least cover up their main address and take advantage of those bonuses and the rest do make use of  VPN

It's not that using VPN will violate right away the site's Terms of Service but of course, if it's prohibited on the site and clearly stated on their Terms of Service then the account will be banned once detected no matter how active that account is was gambling on that platform.

No matter how long the gambler is using the site and they are using VPN, as long as there are specific terms about restrictions of using VPN, they will be banned no matter what. Some of the people want to really urge to play with that particular platform and some of them makes a bypass their country restriction which is not good at the same time, some of the platforms have their Terms and condition like restriction of not using a VPN's that might give them some ban or restriction from the platform itself as long as the platform does not have any restrictions with the use of the VPN just to play is its more ideal to play. Of course for another layer of security every time you change a VPN the platform request a new verification which is more hassle to do.

If using a vpn or tor will give you more trouble then why use it on a certain site in the first place? Some people just want to have trouble, well, I don't have a problem with playing on an online casino as long as you just want to have some fun but if you want to play just to make some money or suddenly hit the jackpot then that would be a problem since you are illegal already in the first place. So, don't ever think something to bend their decision, just accept what their decision if they gave you the money then it's okay if not then move on.

I would rather wait a playable online casino with no restrictions instead of trying to gamble my luck because of eagerness to play. I think there are playable casinos out there that doesn't have any restrictions, you just have to choose it carefully.

Most of the gambling sites have restrictions over certain countries from registering there due to their licence and regulations but nit many gambling sites are still allowing the Tor or atleast the usage of VPN until the user is not using it to bypass any restrictions amd they just use it for privacy concerns. You can ask many gambling site owners or representatives of bitcointalk they let the people to access site via VPN but they will be monitored for any shady activities continuously.

OP, if you want to gamble safely on a gambling site then make sure you don't use a VPN instead. Using a VPN by default goes against the site's rule and is never a good thing to do in the long run even if the site hasn't detected your behavior yet.

If you get those restriction from the site then you should look for another reputable site to use without using a VPN. It's much safer than having to gamble with the rule of the site you're breaking. I don't use TOR to gamble because I only gamble on sites that don't restrict my country. There are many, but make sure the reputation.

Hello everyone, thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge in the thread and I hope there will be something I can take and learn from your experience. It doesn't seem like it will take long to see this thread reach three page. 


I don't know much about gambling and I have never gambled other than just because my friends influenced me to bet on sports betting ^{[not crypto betting]}. I enjoy it but not addicted to it.
