Polkadot was already at $53 and if you want to set a target at $100, then Polkadot needs to increase to 50% from its current price to get to that price, I also have no doubts about Polkadot in this case, but what I doubt is the timing won't be enough just for this year.

I don't know how long-term investment you are talking about, but it probably has to be a very long period.
Right now we are ahead of the alt season but it won't be long. Investing now should be short term and very careful. If you fail to sell before the bear market starts, you can stay with your investment for up to several years.

More powerpacked projects haven't shown good rise in the price over the bull trend when unfamiliar coins have been rising regularly. Myself watching the growth of TRX for a long term, but it hasn't shown any good growth for a long.

All that mentioned are highly potential assets, but what is stopping the growth needs to be analysed. Polkadot through its multi-chain usage access has made a big market, but there is no big price movement. Possibly it'll turn to grow similar to ethereum in long term.

I would prefer Polkadot to grow just like Ethereum. Slowly but steadily up. In my opinion, this is a real project that is worth investing in in the long term and forgetting for several years. I think that in 10 - 15 years everyone who will hodl Polkadot will have a guaranteed pension.
