I feel unsafe to connect about it so input an address to check is better. However it brings another issue: when you check your address, transactions with explorers or third-party sites, you reveal your privacy.

People who don't care about privacy, are free to use those websites to check transaction history. No worry at all.

It's a shame, but my last transaction on Ethereum network was probably over a year ago and the last token a transferred was DIGITAL GOLD when ether gas prices were still relatively low

I think I also remember talking about this issue. Binance smart chain is just a copy-paste of Ethereum network. Zero new solutions to the gas problem in case they get so much traffic as Ethereum has right now.
The Chain is also highly centralized as compared to Ethereum

It says zero gas right now which is accurate because I haven't done an ethereum transaction for a long time. I was expecting the website to show also the fees from my previous txs or give us an option to set the date without downloading data but I can't see the option. Anyway, this is handy to people who actively sends daily.

How old is that address? Mine was created in 2017, it works fine.

Mine works fine and I spend a bit more than I expected but over 100 transactions and mostly I made with as low fee as possible. On average divided the total fee by my 100 transactions and I still paid less than $2 each BUT the gas fee back in those days are not the same as today because ETH price is over $4k now

The same thing will happen to other chain based on ETH if they don't improve. To be honest the calculation is a bit misleading if the user does not pay enough attention, as if ETH was expensive from back they were launched, even though it is more or less similar to the 10k bitcoin pizza case.

Too bad the hype for such airdrops has declined. If it was during the time right after Uniswap airdrop. It would be worth it, but right now I doubt if the token will hold any good value. Otherwise, let's wait and see.

Honestly I do not mind airdrops made for something like this. As in, giving out tokens for activity. Airdrops given for amounts held used to also be a thing but that only gave whales advantage.

I would much prefer if they just took snapshot or you entered your address only instead of connecting wallet,,, then make a smart contract where addresses entered can claim. Now you have to connect a wallet to a site you do not know,,,

I also prefer that. I remember when my ethereum address shown suddenly a token that I didn't know that I purchased because I really didn't. There's a smart contract that would distribute their airdrop to each of those wallets that are eligible for their airdrop during the snap shot. But with this, I know it's safe but I'll choose not to get on it despite I've paid that much gas fees.

I am pretty sure it's whole ethereum ecosystem based airdrop (snapshot is already taken) where all addresses are eligible whether you connected your wallet to website previously or not (but ofc you will have to connect wallet to claim).

I meant to say,,, it would be better if you just need to connect wallet to claim, and not connect wallet to calculate how much you would get. I would probably say that it makes no difference in the end, but I feel this way is a little bit safer.

I have not claimed stuff in a long time but let me see what I get from this

I better not have seen this. Checked a few of my addresses, everything looks very depressing. around $100-$150 per address 
Yesterday I tried to send some ETH, but the recomended normal fee is 300gwei.

To be candid there ought to be an airdrop for the amount we spent on Ethereum gas fee, just as there is an airdrop for the amount we spent on opensea site for gas fee, it's really huge when I checked the amount I had spent on gas fee, like seriously we ought to be compensated, but I believe probably in future there might be an airdrop, just that there will be an amount that ought to have been traded so as to reduce the amount of people that will be qualified
