Need advice regarding buying

Before buying any cryptocurrency you should work on every aspect of particular asset. I personally search that coin should be at their lowest price you will get bumper profit, second is you should know what is their future plans that's can maximize your return. One very important aspect is that in crypto you can't be sure every time so put money into trade that you can afford to loose.

Lately, I've been putting a lot of work to educate myself toward Bitcoin, going through ressources from hope.com / 10hoursofbitcoin.com / Essays / Well document articles...... im officially down the rabbit hole.

I have the feeling that i am starting to understand deeper what Bitcoin truly is, what it brings, how it changes everything, what hope it brings, and mostly, how HONNEST it BTC is.
I am more and more amazed by it, to the point that i've lost almost any interest toward any other crypto «currencies».

To put it in other word, i want to add more bitcoin to my portfolio but with current near ATH price, i am not sure how to proceed from here.
We all know buying at/near ATH is not the best move. On the other hand, people will suggest « DCA DCA - long term long term».


Yes I've been doing DCA with BTC. I've stopped doing so at 2 weeks ago, at 59k. Thought it was getting high to buy.


What are you guys currently doing ? Still buying at 65-68k ? Waiting a for a while ?

The price value of Bitcoin at the moment was below 80k$ it was in between 54-58k$ something, in which I think it is a good chance to buy then hold were it depends on you if it is long or short term holdings something like that. It is also good to know if you fully understand now what really bitcoin is all about.

The price value of Bitcoin at the moment was below 80k$ it was in between 54-58k$ something, in which I think it is a good chance to buy then hold were it depends on you if it is long or short term holdings something like that. It is also good to know if you fully understand now what really bitcoin is all about.

Bitcoin is currently still at $54k and no sign of going up yet, I agree buying Bitcoin at the current price is a good decision. Because Bitcoin probably
won't drop below $50k, it means that if we decide to buy Bitcoin below $60k, it's cheap. Then I suggest holding Bitcoin for the long term  rather
than holding short term, because if we study Bitcoin properly, we will find out the longer the holding of Bitcoin, the greater the profit generated.
But back to ourselves is more comfortable holding short term or long term, sometimes everyone has a different choice. So just do what
we feel comfortable with, and don't make decisions based on other people's opinions.

Apart from Bitcoin you can buy other crypto from Altcoins. Precisely with cheaper altcoin prices and altcoins also often experience market trends. It is suitable for day trading which will give you profit without a long time. Both have their own pluses and minuses between Bitcoin and Altcoins. I remember the Bitcoin trading phenomenon in 2017, thousands of people got lost, thousands of people suffered losses, not a few people experienced stress ATH spiked at the end of 2017, The phenomenon remembers me like today, it's hard to guess, what will happen next Bitcoin knows 2022, I wondered to myself (will something similar happen again).

OP, crypto is currently a little difficult to tell you to buy or patiently wait for the development of the crypto market, it will backfire for yourself, only one thing i can say, be patient and see market developments in mid december, come in january, take the decision to continue.

Have you seen the trend on Twitter lately? People were saying – buy the dip –they are being positive about the market going up again. I think such a trend being on the top would motivate a lot of people to start buying Bitcoin right now, and I am feeling now is a perfect time for anyone to just buy and hold their asset tight.

Or if you have already invested in the market before and you have not sold your coins yet, then it would be good to just keep on holding for now till the year is over. The year is not yet over, so there is still a big chance that the market would run up one more time, and we should all be ready and waiting for that to happen. Those that doesn’t gather their assets early would regret missing the action.

If I have millions of fiat stack in my home, I will be cost average buying any BTC I get my hands on, I wouldn't pity any sats I set my eyes I find my eyes on sell order but the problem right now is that I'm the opposite of what I just said, that's why I will opt-in for Altcoins with great potential of break boundaries and not some shitcoins that will forever remain in one place no matter the amount of marketing input.
Bitcoin has prove to be the best inflation hedge despite the volatility.

You are right, Bitcoin is the best option you have to combat inflation, even in countries like Venezuela some banks for the year 2022 are thinking of granting credits using Bitcoin, it is the last I know and it is not official yet, but still , the banks and the entire financial system would have an incredible improvement, because it would be like in El Salvador, I imagine that they will also have the option of creating a wallet under which the BTC fees are free, and possibly they can use LN which is the most logical I believe that it is the only way that the country can get ahead, even knowing that the banks will keep their hard hand under the debt.

Don't you buy on that price you're saying, because this time we reached corrections and the price goes below $60k. That's a good opportunity to take actions right now, while it doesn't fall below $50k and there's really a big chances to recover and touch $60k once again.
Bitcoin had proven a lot of times, and I can't afford to lose all over again just like the old days I made my mistakes.

That is the same thing with me, I have not been buying for now ‘cause I feel that the price in the market has been really high. So, I’ve been relying on my investments that I have done earlier , and I’m looking forward to the market still increasing from here. But, if it doesn’t and the market happens to go down further, then I might be investing again in it,  and then I would continue to hold until the next bull run takes place.

So, my advice would be that you calm down a bit, and wait for a better time when the market will be in a good condition before you start investing. There’s really no need for you to be rushing it right now, there will still be a lot of opportunities to get in, in the future.

as long as we are patient waiting it will pay off if we invest, buy under 60K, there are some altcoins that can make the main choice like ethereum or binance, or maybe we can use a small part of the capital to try our luck on new coins, so that it can increase our profits and also the security of our funds is healthier

You know one sweet about bitcoin? It's uni direction in profits, you can get buy and do a DCA when the price is falling and hold for long time, at a point your buy will be average and when bitcoin enters accumulation face afyer bottom out, you will be in good profit when another bull start.
You may also do DCA just before and after the price has fallen, this way you must have accumulated many at bottom and buy the remaining when it's pumping and sell your sats when a new all time has been reach or attained.

Of course we will invest for the long term, and I think anytime as long as we have pocket money then that is the best time to buy. even though we buy at the peak, as long as we are patient then we will get a profit later, that's how it is an investment, without panic selling

The answer is very simple, don't buy when people are in FOMO because that will help the price to skyrocket unless it's already overbought. The right technical analysis will always give you the answer you're looking for, so don't forget to do it before making a trade. Be patient, don't rush things up because eventually, your technical analysis will be always right as long as you've done it correctly, obviously.
