As I do remember also, most of the postponement or reschedule fights in boxing ended up in cancellation, though it's a piece of sad news for every boxing fan that waited to see this fight, but the management need to follow the rules of the country for health purposes. However, maybe this kind of reason of postponement may not affect the original fight arrangement because the reason is valid and acceptable, and not it's not like the case of other fighters like the Casimero vs. Butler that the chance to see them fighting inside the ring is already lost.

He deserves to get a huge fight before he retired because the guy is amazing when it comes to fighting anyone who is capable to beat him but most of the time he managed to beat them instead. His record is incredible with only 1 loss and a high percentage of knockout wins, I'm sure he will give us a sure entertaining night which will be recorded in boxing history. GGG expresses his disappointment on the postponement but understands that health concerns should always be a priority. Murata on the other hand, consider the fight with GGG will test his overall experience. The result will also determine his status in the middleweight division.

With what happened, both boxers now have more time to continue their training and be well-prepared more on the scheduled date.

We could really see the disappointments which this is something that we could really able to observe out even the fans who had been longing for these upcoming fights do really get disappointed with these postponement of schedules.

The Japanese governments are of the those who are early to act in terms of disasters and viruses, as expected they're really concern to their fellow citizens because they know that it would reflect their economy if many of their people are suffering from the new variant.
As for these two boxers, they respect the decision to postpone the fight next year but there's no exact date yet when, but we can really assume that this fight will really happen in the 1st quarter next year. For the bright side, they can train more properly without any pressuring schedules and spend the holidays with their own families.

I agree! GGG always brings entertaining fights to all his fans and viewers. He deserves this recognition and let him fight while he still wanted to showcase his skills; the fight was postponed its giving more time for both fighters to have more training and be more prepare once the schedule is already set up.

When things been arranged accordingly then it is most likely it would be followed and be done as if they have any other options? The organization would always be having the final say but there are situtations which they could really be changed off depending on the circumstances.
Fights had been postponed which is likely to those health protocols which need to be followed which it isnt surprising.

GGG's camp can't just cancel a fight even if they see another opponent with a chance of getting huge money. The governing body will be the one that will cancel the fight if it makes sense to do so like for example, Japan continues to apply its restrictions until 1Q of next year making it more of a delay. Switching to other venues might work too as there are countries who don't have much strict restrictions - that is if they really want to push it right away at the beginning of next year.

Murata is not a tough fighter to consider. You can be based on his experience.

But since GGG is a big name, maybe that will fuel Murata's goal to work hard in practice. If he will defeat GGG, that will be a great recognition and possibly, big paychecks on his next fight.

Well taking into account that GGG represents for many of us a kind of good feeling or that we always want to see the success of GGG, we cannot go through the enormous potential that Murata has, for many the winner is Murata, but I think this time I I would go for GGG, no matter how old I am, I have to be consistent with what I think, and at the same time I know that some of the emotions can influence, but I think that this time GGG can surprise, it would be a good closing of year, let's wait and see how this time of preparation unfolds, I am sure that GGG will give everything to get the victory.

I think that's not the case here based on the feedback of the majority. Only a few think Murata has a chance to win.

Yep actually both GGG and Murata really want to fight with each other, on their social media they announcing to make sure the fight got postponed not being cancelled. It's good to see they're serious for that, seems they're already prepared.

Murata will fight with another top boxer, even he has a quite experience but for me it's still not enough to beat GGG in this fight. However even Murata will lose, I'm sure he will learn a good lesson and could become more better.

It depends on what the contract they signed says, it is unlikely that with the pandemic still in place there are not some lines there so they can deal with this, in my opinion the easiest way to deal with this is to move the fight to another venue, after all both GGG and Murata are fine, why do they need to postpone or cancel the fight if both fighters are in good conditions? If the fight cannot be conducted at Japan that is fine, just find another country and organize the fight there.

I do agree that all those fighters are beatable by GGG. But Erislandy Lara is slick and a lefty, maybe it will give GGG a problem because Lara almost beat Canelo with that style.

Charlo is young and is undefeated and very hungry and been in the MW for the last 2-3 years and making a name for himself. A fight with him and GGG will be amazing as we can see the old but experience vs a young and hungry fighter.
