A win here by Murata will make him a boxing superstar. Imagine beating GGG, he would be just like Horn after beating Pacman but in another way because we all know that the fight was very controversial and Horn falls to the hands of Crawford. What I'm saying is that if Murata would win convincingly, it will give him big opportunities to fight popular boxers going forward.
It will hype his career for sure. Murata will earn a good offer and huge money fight in case he wins this fight. There are no changes in who's the favorite here, still GGG is the one fan eyed to win, hoping that they will see the trilogy against Alvarez. We will see what's the outcome is after the fight and who will win and be rewarded by another good offer for the next upcoming fight.

He is one of the boxers who stands at the top in his current class and indeed this requires a lot of struggle for GGG. Technically, if you look at it from there, it's certainly as expected in this forum because GGG is definitely the favorite and indeed Murata is the Underdog, but indeed this will be tough and most likely this will be a battle with calculations later
I believe that Murata is not just a simple boxer that GGG should take him easy because this man Murata will truly give a difficult fight for him. It cannot be denied that GGG is the crowd's favorite here but it is also undeniable that he should prepare for this fight to be able to achieve the ultimate goal of winning the battle. I can't wait to see them inside the ring and unfold the result right in front of us who among them will stand out at the end. As I said before Murata is one of the pretty good boxers in his class and even he can reach the top top in my opinion and that doesn't come from just relaxing because he is indeed a strong enough boxer to reach that level. Regardless it will be a tough fight no matter who is underdog or underdog but they are very good boxers and they have to stay alert A win here by Murata will make him a boxing superstar. Imagine beating GGG, he would be just like Horn after beating Pacman but in another way because we all know that the fight was very controversial and Horn falls to the hands of Crawford. What I'm saying is that if Murata would win convincingly, it will give him big opportunities to fight popular boxers going forward. Indeed, it will make Murata famous in the industry and there will more doors of opportunity that will open for him, and maybe he'll end up the same league with Inoue or somehow near him. However beating GGG won't be an easy path to take as the Kazakhstani boxer is known for his toughness especially his chin.

Murata is still a threat on GGG's career even though there's a much more anticipated fight ahead of him which is the trilogy, even so he still needs to face Murata first and defeat him in-order to retain the hype of the fight that he is been calling for years now. About Murata, I know that he is been really preparing for this fight because these are the fights that he has probably waited for years to have that one fight that will change his career and defeating GGG will be a good stepping stone for his career as it would really give him more opportunities in this industry.

What interests me on this fight is not how Murata will perform or his motivation but how GGG will handle himself going to this fight and the fight day, old age is catching up with him although I have not seen him slowing down on his last fight, every boxer's dilemma is their age and the body's reaction, the mind is still there but the body does not react to what the mind wants, it's not on Murata but if GGG still has it, if he still has it GGG can win this easily.

It will be obvious if age will catch up on GGG in this fight, he will be slow and then Murata winning the fight to someone thwart the possible trilogy with Canelo. So everything rest on the hands of GGG now, he better perform in this fight and show that he still has it and then set the fight with Canelo.

We know how good GGG is, he is a top boxer and known with a heavy hands that can cause damage to his opponent but its not certain if his performance before would still be the same now. If he defeat Murata then he can prove that he still got what it takes to be a top boxer and age is not a hindrance. However, its not going to be an easy fight since Murata is younger and a good boxer also. Lets just see who will dominate the ring.

Golovkin very well knows that he is in the retirement stage he has done a lot of things for the boxing community and established his legacy, the one thing missing right now is the conclusion of his epic match against Canelo, and since there is news of them fighting each other again it will excite both fighters to hurdle their respective opponents, I hope to see the same Golovkin aggressive and a good technical fighter who can go to toe and come out the better fighter.

There is news bro related to the expected trilogy fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin that's why it become a talk of the town. Of course, not unless these two will win their upcoming fight, that's the only time the negotiation will start. The speculated month of the bout is around September. Before Canelo already ends their chapter saying he's not interested with GGG but things have changed and he now becomes open for a Part III of their fight. For now, we can't expect any progress. We should wait first to settle theose upcoming fights of these two.

But let's not talk about the age because that's not an issue in this fight because it's just a 4 year gap between the two boxers, so it's not going to be an advantage or disadvantage for the both side. Instead, we will see next month who will be more capable.

I agree with your. Both are good boxers and both of their strengths - I like the punching speed of GGG while I like the strength of Murata. He is certainly young and have his own positive energy. But coming to the ring sometime universal has its own way to decide- I trust energies as well. But hope for the best. May the best one wins.

They are way too much in gap when it comes to experience and but speaking of KO percentage then both are just the same almost on that area which is that they are both hard puncher plus have that power which cant be denied. They do only differ on experience and of course with age which we could somehow make out some presumptions that underdog could take a shot but majority of fans do knows that GGG does have the advantage which i couldnt be surprised that he's the favorite on this one.

Murata's experience is not solid. And he is not young at 36. At that age, a boxer is considered as veteran age and almost close to retirement age. The only advantage of Murata in this fight is, he will fight in front of his home audience in Japan. It will boost his confidence that will trigger his determination to win the fight even the chances are low (green eyes in the anime series, Hajime No Ippo lol). But on the serious side, GGG shouldn't have any problem fighting with Murata. He is way too weak compared to other boxers that GGG faced since he turned 35. The Canelo-GGG II if I'm not mistaken was done when GGG is 36. See the gap 4 years from now, his strength should still be at 40 years old.

Apart from being the pride of Murata, of course, this will be more encouraging, especially if he manages to win. He is now getting motivated even though he is still the underdog but it is better because the opportunity for Murata is still there even if he is not underdog. He will play loose because even if he loses he will still be seen as a pretty good boxer but the big pressure is on GGG now.

Yes, I totally agree, this is not going to be walk in the park fight for GGG, he really need to work very hard to get a win against Murata. GGG is know to have power in both hands, and we don't know if it has diminished already because in his last fight, his critics says that he seems to be losing some power already. But we will see, for sure he is extra motivated because of the future fight with Alvarez. So he will have to go and beat Murata and try to dominate him and convince us that he has a chance against Alvarez.

Murata is no longer on his prime, same with GGG, stamina wise, it's not far between the two. Like what you just mentioned, the only thing that we can say as advantage is fighting in front of your home crowd, but in boxing it can be the opponent's advantage. Being inspired that the crowd is against you will boost more inside of you. That determination to win and prove that you are much better than the crowd is cheering with.

I am definitely looking for that surprise, if Murata wins, then be it, and that means no more trilogy. GGG will definitely work hard for this fight as he also know himself what's next for him if he wins this fight, and as per rumors, he would again go with Canelo which gives him a chance to prove himself that he won the last 2 fights.
Still a pride from a prime fighter, GGG still wants to prove that he deserves it. They both need to win their upcoming fights and then discuss the possible trilogy once everything is already settled. We might see more aggressive and yet focus GGG during his fight against Murata, he needs work harder to stay fit and flexible to beat Murata in front of his fans. Best way to sell his name and bring more interest for the fans to call for the trilogy and established promoter's interest. But again, things will only take place if both GGG and Alvarez will win on their respective fights.

It is interesting that as soon as the trilogy was back over the table people almost immediately forgot about the next fights of both GGG and Canelo and we are just assuming they are going to win their respective matches and the trilogy will take place. However as we know anything can happen in boxing, and the plans of that fight could be derailed in a way similar to what happened to the Wilder vs Joshua unification fight that was supposed to take place, but Ruiz and then Fury ruined that possibility and even if I do not want that to happen Murata and Bivol could do the same to GGG and Canelo.

It won't be an easy fight for the both of them just as Murata is young and a decent boxer while GGG is more older but he had more experience and IQ in the ring, that will be his advantage for this for this fight. But let's not talk about the age because that's not an issue in this fight because it's just a 4 year gap between the two boxers, so it's not going to be an advantage or disadvantage for the both side. Instead, we will see next month who will be more capable.
Good point! Exactly, what we have here now is just a pure and mere speculations but the difference is that we are basing it through some facts that have happened in previous years and we cannot deny that GGG have the higher hand in this fight considering his stamina, ring IQ, and especially the experience compared to the younger and inexperienced Murata who only have its strengths and advantage because the fight will happen in his own homeland. We can expect that it will really boost his confidence and determination to give a good fight but the chances will remain the same.
