I not really sure if it's real. However, it cannot be denied that the bitcoin price chart display on October 11 - October 12 is the ATH of Bitcoin. And to this day I see bitcoin price movements have a downward correction of approximately -8%.
As that person said, used 7 exchanges in one night. I can say that the Holder is the winner. if the person's statement is really real then he is a new billionaire from bitcoin investment. I'm jealous that I can't buy BTC when they're cheap

You don't need to be jealous man just read and learn from the person who took the risk to invest at when he did. 5 years in the future from today, your story too can be told on how you invested in bitcoin when it was "cheap" but you may not want to invest now as you are thinking the price is high. It is an encouragement and lesson to learn from that we need some investment now. There other coins with good use and will be around just like bitcoin , so we can invest for the future.

No one is sure whether the provided information is true. As in the above quote if you can afford a bitcoin by now you might get into the history after five years, because by that time the entire bitcoin will be mined. During 2026 there'll be very limited number of people holding a complete bitcoin. So, being one among them in the entire population will make you unique. If not the better choice is to invest on some low price potential altcoins and hold for years. If lucky after five years you might encounter such a scenario of using more number of exchanges.

I don't know if this info is real or not obviously a lot of people don't believe in that story but anyway I think this has nothing to do with bitcoin's decline on the basis it's just a normal correction but anyways there's no valid proof about 1000 bitcoins being he has even though he gets 300k BUSD commission from his friends.

There is nothing to envy we can still achieve the same and bitcoin will continue to increase in the next 5 years however with the decline of bitcoin for me it has nothing to do with that thread.

Currently 1000 BTC = 64,100,000 as of this writing basing on the price on Preev.com which i could say that this amount wouldnt really be making much more effect imho.

We couldnt tell though on whats happening behind the curtains but i dont mind much most of the time whether there are some whale selling or someone is buying in bulks.
What matter most on here is that we wouldnt really drop that hard or having a crashing market just like in the past.

@OP, we do all have regrets on missing out that train and making ourselves to be rich but it doesnt mean that we cant deal on the current market we are on.

Amazing guts for believing bitcoin even though the future is not sure if we it can get sucess and this is a legit indicator that holder is always a winner but you don't need to get jealous as other said since bitcoin still alive and we have so many chance if not the same as him but maybe we can still earn huge money in future if we hold for more longer times.

Good to see this so hopefully we can see more holders became successful in future.

Most of the time when some dormant coins are moved it’s usually someone who is upgrading their wallet or security to something more up to date.

Coins from 2015 usually not Segwit and wallets have less features. So people upgrade to a New wallet and send it over to a New Segwit address and hence it’s detected on the blockchain, doesn’t mean they will sell it.

I will not be surprised if someone bought 1000 BTC in 2015 because the price is not too high at that year.
But still, it cost you a lot of money if he bought 100 BTC at once.
You should not be jealous of him because he joins in bitcoin a long time ago while you joined here in 2019.
But you can have a chance to have more bitcoin, especially if you can do many things to make more bitcoin.

You bought at $300 then it pumps to $1000. Will you not sell at that point and savor all the profit you made? I bet you could not stop yourself at that moment.

i think you might be know too some people too bought bitcoin at cheap price at 2015 too but unfortunately some of them didn't believe the price will very high such as today and they had decide to sold it early and indeed holders will be the winner but not so easy to facing the fluctuation market it took good mentally to do so however the time cannot be back but you still have a chance to collect or buy more bitcoin because i believe bitcoin price won't stopped at current price so make people stories as your motivation to get more bitcoin and hold more i think it will be good idea rather than regretting why not know and buy bitcoin early

You should have read a little better, because the user you are mentioning is not the one who supposedly has 1000 BTC, but it is supposedly his friend who cannot access that same BTC on some crypto exchange.

He is from Indonesia,
From his story, he wants to help his friend withdraw 1000 BTC which he bought in 2015 and is currently stuck at Indodax due to loss of access. As far as I know, the exchange changed the domain in early 2018 from vip.bitcoin.co.id to indodax.com.

To regret something you can't change is completely pointless. In addition, you have been on the forum since 2019, which means that you had a lot of opportunities to buy Bitcoin much cheaper than its price today - and even if you could buy 1000 BTC during 2015, do you know how much it would cost you?

I am not sure if we can do this again today. This person made god knows how many multipliers of profit, not saying it is impossible because it happened very recently as well but with other tokens. Like that guy who turned 8 grand to 5 billion, sure he can't have that much if he sells, but he could sell for 50 million and that would still be 8 grand turn into 50 million. However with bitcoin I doubt that could ever happen again.

Imagine putting in 100k into bitcoin today, hell even a few months ago and got 2 bitcoins, you would still need to wait out god knows how much for it to become 1 million dollars. We are talking about a simple 20x and not 10000x like early investors did. However if you spend 1k on a small cap token that gets 1000x return then suddenly you have 1 million dollars as well. Bitcoin is a good long term investment, but if you are looking for short term quick gain bitcoin is not what you should be buying.

The holder cannot be a winner if he cannot withdraw the funds, it's only on paper but in reality, you cannot get it.

A person who had 1000 BTC would probably need to be careful, he doesn't share his information online as we know how dangerous our life would become if people would know we got that huge BTC. At the current price if it remains untouched that would be over $64 million, so it's not really a billion.

The point here is don't trust all your bitcoin in an exchange, storing there will only give you a problem in the future as they could cheat by locking or freezing the account for fabricated reasons only, remember that not your key, not your wallet.

You're not alone and we are the same, but I did not feel jealous at all because I know on that day, I have felt and doubted that on bitcoin and the reason I did not invest because of fear that this doesn't have a future but it is opposite by now, the price was really skyrocketing and reaches different ATH that has come and I think it is the same in this scenario.

Yes, that usually happens. People are envious when things go well, they don't usually see the risk involved.

Let's imagine the OP is a middle class worker with little savings but in 2015 received an inheritance or hit the lottery for $200,000. Would he have invested it all in Bitcoin? I'm sure he wouldn't. In 2015 Bitcoin was not as popular as it is today, the Mount Gox crisis had been the year before. Investing almost all his net worth in such a speculative and volatile asset could only be done by a madman or a visionary.

Another thing is someone who has many millions of net worth, and invests a small part, but it does not seem to be the case of the OP.

Yeah, this is why when people tell me they got in early and took the risk with tens of thousands of dollars 5 years ago, it doesn't impress me much. Cause if you're cool to invest that much money, then you're already wealthy and Bitcoin buys are just another investment for you.

Of course there are stories of people who went all in, my respects to them.

But the reality is, all these daring stories are really just stories of people in the right place and time, and with enough wealth to comfortably take risks.

Why you should be jealous if you haven't bought while its cheap? Someday the price of bitcoin now will also be cheap and there will be folks that will feel the same as you that they haven't bought today.

Just move on and take yourself with a plan on how you're going on planning to see yourself maybe 3-5 years from now with bitcoin.
