Is the meme coin still worth holding

I'm still holding some ELON and SHIB, but only profits as I sold my initial investment on both of them a little while before the drop. I'm planning to continue holding these, but not investing in new ones at the moment. I think SHIB has established itself on enough exchanges that we could eventually kill another zero, but the market is going to have to turn around first. ELON has began getting listed on more exchanges, and once the market rebounds we could still see it kill another zero once they get listed on Binance and/or Coinbase. I don't think the meme coins are gone, but I also wouldn't go dumping a bunch of additional money into them while the market is down..

Meme or joke coins coming in crypto market for having some good profit by scammer developers and these are not related to Elon Musk because he is new and just hyping Dogecoin. We already have some good history of meme coins those came in market and having some hype then suddenly all gone with many losing their money as well crypto market. These never been worth to holding because anytime can go down very badly, so try to avoid them and just concentrate on solid projects because it's very important for investors to do some good search and having good knowledge about good projects in crypto. Why are you correlating the surge in meme coins with Christmas? What is your basis? Just because people have a lot of money for Christmas and will spend it on crypto? That is not how the crypto world works. Do you think a lot of people will spend their money on meme coins even if they have a lot of money? a coin with no actual uses? I'm also no longer interested in investing in meme coins, since what happened to Dogecoin which was hype just because of manipulation by famous
people. Once Dogecoin reaches ATH, Dogecoin price fell immediately and until now has not recovered, there is a possibility that people who have
bought Dogecoin at the peak price will be stuck in the long term. Therefore, I assess what happened to Dogecoin, it will also happen to other meme coins.
So I suggest not to invest in meme coins, because the risk is very high. Why not focus on coins that are clearly potential and have strong fundamentals,

sell if the price is already high because the price of meme coins will usually immediately drop in the market so while the price is high then sell it. and for the coins that are being held, we can't hope for more because coin memes are not good to invest or trade. if you really want to use it then hold on to coins that do have good prospects to hold so that our wait will not be in vain and will pay off.

I never hold memo coins for long because we have seen so many memo coins perish. So I'm not in favor of keeping memo coins for long. I think investing in bitcoin and etherium from memo coins is quite reasonable for long term investment. It will protect your assets.

Bought a meme coin and decided to keep it for the long term, I think it's a gambling decision and the risk of losing money is huge,

Nah, I am no longer holding any meme coins in my wallet.I was holding Dogecoin, but I have already sold all of them when the price was high, though not at the peak. I kind of felt that it was going to crash anytime soon, because the hype was too much, so I decided that I was going to sell at that point and sold all of them, and a part of the money I got from selling it I invested in bitcoin.

SHIB is the meme coin I had interest, but I missed to invest in it earlier, and when the price increased much, I decided to not buy it again, because I felt that it was kind of late already. Right now I don’t really think that all these meme coins are worth holding, although DOGE and SHIB has a good chance at hitting a high price in the future.

Taking high risks can lead to great profits as well, investing the money in fairly stable coins will only lead to stable returns which wouldn't be handsome enough as compared to investing in high risk vehicles like meme tokens. Many a times they turn out to be pump and dumps which can make someone loose quiet decent amount of their portfolio, but if research done right can lead to good return on the opportunity.

And this is where people do really differ because not all would really be that risk takers when it comes to investment and some do have that gambler mind and some do  really likes to play safe which means decisions will really be entirely different to each other and if you do really like to hold meme coins
then its your choice but you know that things that is driven off with hype will definitely crash down and would might result into loss if you dont
