Leaked by whoever is part of the meeting or the transaction that is happening.
If it's backdoor then it is the only reason it has gone out from a private meeting. If it's in public then even the exchange will put it in social media first hand.
Another is if the plan is already set and was told in the chat group, i.e. discord or telegram where they mostly published anything or pass it to their mods to be announced. Your friend could be one of their followers but if you want to be the first to know about everything then that will be a difficult task.

Most traders are looking for this information and have a strong desire to know it because those who obtain this information have greater chances of profit, but it is difficult to obtain this information before it is officially announced, but there are always leaks, I personally am constantly looking for coins that will be Listing it on a stock exchange but I haven't managed so far to find out a correct source, all you can get is some news from social media sites especially telegram where groups are active in tracking some good news. I think the only solution is to follow the news and social media permanently.

If its not insider information, the other alternative ways to get such information is following the various social media channels available for the particular project you interested in, and you could also follow various exchanges social media channels as they regularly post such upcoming listings. Btw i do not think  such info is kept a secret as most projects will want their investors and potential investors to know of such developments and how well they are working within their planed time lines.

Perhaps there are some insider resources or groups where all this information is? How do you get that info?
Usually this is my experience, of course I don't know other people how to find out one of the coins will be listed in a certain market.

As far as I know, if you register or you are one of the participants of the market, say Binance or your local market, you will get information from gmail three days before the coin is listed in a certain market.

For example:

That's one of the examples of notifications I received, that's my experience, I'll emphasize I don't know other users how to find out about it, of course have different opinions.

I think there are some sites out there that provides such listing events for every new projects, i don't know the name but i saw it around Google when I'm looking for some sort of information of my trades.. And as far as i knows usually through twitter, i mean if you used to follow crypto projects you can easily find such announcements in just a simple research.. Actually for me binance announcements is the most easy way to don't miss such events since this platform is very reliable when it comes new projects..

Hi guys

For a long time, one question never ceases to worry me - how do people find out about the listing of new coins even before the official announcement? I constantly learn about the listing of a particular coin from traders, and not from official statements. Yesterday, a friend of mine told me about listings of bnx on binance and nwc on crypto.com, but this information was not yet in their sources.

Perhaps there are some insider resources or groups where all this information is? How do you get that info?
For listing in big exchanges, usually trader community will discuss, or maybe started with coins that sent to exchange's wallet. I think something like that not very hard to get because some trading group or maybe trading signal channel. Mostly we can find it in telegram.

Well, there will probably be aggregator sites with such events but their announcement timing will also coincide with announcements on major exchanges and social networks, so when we want to know about which projects will be listed, going straight to places like social networks and exchanges is enough to know for sure. If we want to know sooner, we can participate in the project's online Q&A sessions, most projects have sessions that hint at their ideas and next roadmap, a few smart questions will reveal where possibilities are listed.

Most of the listings of new coins are always on their social media channels first through which traders can get information about these coins and analyzed them properly, but most of them are shown through the twitter, and after that the coin launch in that exchange for more information people mostly join their telegram.

I think listing shouldn't be known to the public prior to listing event, making listing public or private will definitely run against NDA. This is why you rarely seen an exchange given out announcement of listing before. You might however get listing after the coin started trading on exchange!

I think this information only can say who are involved or any leakage by team members who working in listing with this project other wise this is impossible. But sometimes team say their roadmap about listing which did not work on time due to co-ordination. Nothing else.

There are a lot of Telegram groups discussing new coins right now and I'm also following them to get the latest information.

Telegram is the best place to find the latest crypto information and Twitter is also a social media that talks a lot about cryptocurrencies.

Rumors about listing new coins on major exchanges will continue to circulate in various groups.

Yeah lots of them and knowing this platform is the main medium when it comes to announcement or spreading out information but you should really be careful on dealing with those groups because aside from those legit information there are still lots of scam and frauds that do exist on to those market which simply means that you would really be needing to be careful and be watchful with those scams and just
filter out those things that do share up with legit information and i would say that this isnt something simple that you could deal with.
