You need to see btcnews or some crypto news, you also can find it in this forum. There are plenty of new coin announcement you can find. Coinmarketcap website is still my best choice to find out.

I have to say it is clear to me that there is a big problem if you are looking for so early information that it is not even out yet and you want to know before everyone else. I am not saying that you shouldn't do it, but you should try to avoid it as much as you can if you really want to profit. I mean early investment is cool and all, but so early that only you and some few others know about it? That's not really good.

Most projects start with a banging marketing anyway, which means thousands will come from that marketing alone and that will be the very start, you and everyone else who is early will hear about there, it will not be something you look for, it will come to you because it is ads and banners and generally marketing that they do and the aim is to reach to you in the end.

There's no magic on it, they're just informed within the community or usually they're updated through the website of that certain project. It's why many are earlier during the presale.

But the thing isn't about being early or updated.

It's about the worthiness of that project you're wanting to ever get into its early sale. Well, honestly, it's just about the profit why people chase to be early.

This is a very difficult to answer even though that there are websites that give us this information, I would say that majority of them might not even be accurate. I guess if you really wanted to get this info then you really need to be in the social media and read everything related to crypto, reddit, 4chan, telegram because that's where gonna find this kind of information.

I don't believed on insider information group, they are just going to squeeze you with money with data that you are readily available to the public. So just be careful about it.

Simple answer is connections and networking. Get yourself into a place where you know many people who are willing to share such information. Best bet would be good advisors which are seen in many successful projects. I have several on my list and i'm able to get into private sales early

People becomes aware of the presales since it has been announce on social media, specially on forums like this forum. These projects also have their own social media where they shares the progress of the project. There are sites that lists upcoming, ongoing, and ended presales afaik.

ANd that's right, even if their rating is high, don't trust about such rating because some of them are paid ones.

Most are just giving promises but when it comes to actual implementation, most of them are failure.

Just search ICO reviews related websites.

There are no insiders as projects themselves announce it weeks or months before their token sale. There's no secret on it. About the story of your friend, all I can say is, he did the right timing but not all the time, that will be the case so don't expect and manage your limitations.
