There's no 100% protection nor way to completely get of scams. However, you can minimize being scammed by doing such a responsible act and proper DYOR. Even in a project where everything seemed legit, we can't get an assurance that they will not be turned into sh*t someday.

To somehow minimize or lessen the chance of being scammed, first, of course, is to use our "common sense." Moving forward, set our own factors why should we trust or put a risk on a project.

Experience is the key. Be vigilant at all times.

You do research on project and conclud that its a scam but the project turn out to be big success. I don't think it is possible for one to avoid all scams in crytocurrency no matter how hard one tries.Have lost alot amount of money investing in scams project despite many alot of researches.All sites that posts information about new projects due help one to avoid be scammed but no all.But it is still very important to make research before investing in any project to reduce loss of one's funds.

Fact checking and using sources such as forums can be a powerful tool in order to avoid getting scammed, but it is inevitable for someone not to encounter any scams at all since it can be on any platform that you use, investing in projects otherwise requires further fact checking and might as well see their whitepaper and other proof provided.

IMO, i don't think it will be completely possible to get rid of cryptocurrency scams as scammers are becoming smarter by the day and devising new means and methods of swindling cryptocurrency from users. What can be done however is massive awareness and sensitisation that can help reduce the number of people that these scammers turn to victims. As a user, do proper research also and invest only in projects that are known.

we can protect ourself from many scam, but we cant to not joining scam project. that is different thing, when you get scam tricked by web or investation or just be bounty participant.
all of participant scam be my experience, and i never tricked till loss money.

No, it's not possible but with proper knowledge, we can avoid being scammed.

There's a tricky part in doing scams like a project showing a good development and active team. In that situation, people will never think that someday that project will be a scam. Since there's no way to determine that scam will happen on that project, it's like taking the risks. Just be extra careful, at any cost, choosing a project or coin to invest in.

No, we cant get rid scams completely.

In some cases even we did our part to avoid scam projects, sometimes we still end up to be on that unfortunate situation. However there's always a way to prevent ourselves becoming a victim and that is by having knowledge and careful on projects to invest in.

It is difficult to determine which project is a scam or not, because sometimes a scam project also has complete information. however, although we cannot avoid scammers, we can minimize them. well, scammers have been around for a long time, and they can adapt. So, it's very hard not to run into a scammer. all we can do to minimize this is to do continuous and in-depth research.

Are you trying to say that ICO = scam ? Dont know why you are so negative or against ICO, but there are plenty of successful projects that ran ICO.
Why "not scam project" must be mineable? There are no scam in mineable projects? Cant agree with that. Besides, I've seen lots of mineable projects that never get listed anywhere, despite scam projects, that are listed on some exchanges. At least it is possible to sell scam and minimize losses. Instead of spending resources on nothing.

Education is the key, proper research and controlling your greed, these are all that I can think of, you should know what to look how to look and where to look, you should be investigative and always keep that suspicion alive do not be believe in the hype and avoid FOMO, FOMO is hard to avoid it's hard to control envy when people are making a huge profit from one project.
Scams are now part of our daily lives here in the Cryptocurrency community, Understanding the risk and being educated will lessen your risk to get scammed.

I thought it was possible but as soon as they find new techniques and they found you unguarded, they won't hesitate to fool you. That's what's happening in the scamming industries where scammers have some updated strategies to fool people that's why to keep yourself updated, you need to often visit the Beginners & Help section of this forum cause they almost post the newly invested scam right there. You can avoid every scam out there when you also update yourself about their new technique.

It is if you decide to HODL only top crypto for long period of time. If you are not addicted to crypto, like a lot of us are, then I would suggest that you buy coins in top 50, safely store your private keys and forget about it for 10 years.
If you are already dragged too deep into crypto, then its too late and you will get scammed sooner or later.
