Hi,

i have 5 account on my metamask desktop, but when i add in smartphone using private key, only the first account is added,

how add multiple accounts?

What did you mean? You have created a wallet and generated 5 addresses? Am I right?
Now, you are trying to access all these addresses? I'm a little bit confused. What did you mean by account exactly? For every address, you must have a private key and you can access all these addresses with the private key. Import the private keys one by one.

You can just sync your metamask from desktop/browser to it's mobile app through its sync feature (QR code scan) which is more secured than just importing your private keys there.

Check

1. Install MetaMask mobile at MetaMask.io.
2. Open the MetaMask mobile app and select ‘Sync or Import’ > ‘Scan QR code’.
4. Log into your MetaMask extension
5  Click Settings > Advanced > Sync with Mobile. You’ll see a QR code.
6. Scan this QR code with your MetaMask mobile app (see step #2).

That's exactly what I had in mind when I first used Metamask years ago. I know that if I was able to sync the same Metamask account in other browser then I was dealing with an online account like Coinbase and stuffs. Luckily it did not.

Well to be clear I am not a tech gig so I have no idea how this technology works.

There are no multiple account. To set it in other device you need your seed and restore the wallet in other device.

That is not the way of how it works. Each address(accounts) consist of a different private key. So, you had to do import them one by one. Instead, the favourable/best way is to import your seed phrase to your mobile applications.

The seed phrase/12-word secret recovery phrase is the one that is able to hold many addresses(account), by importing the seed phrase into your mobile, it will automatically show all of your accounts, so you don't have to import the private key one by one.

That's exactly what I had in mind when I first used Metamask years ago.

As of now, Metamask disabled the QR sync. So importing the seed phrase is the only viable option.

A single private key get you access to a single address.
As stated by Little Mouse in the first reply, if you want to access more than 1 address, you have to import all private keys. For accessing x addresses, you need x private keys.

The easier method is to use your seed phrase (a series of 12/24 words)
Your seed phrase can generate all your private keys and can be used for accessing all your addressees easily.  

By 5 accounts, if you mean 5 addresses in a single wallet, you need only 1 seed phrase.
If you mean 5 different wallets, you need 5 seed phrases.

You will reach the top left line. It then appears in the account section there. From there it has the "create account" and import sections. Import account for current partition. For the new account, you can create it from the create accout section.

Just use the private key or memoric phrase of all those accounts to import into other device. That’s the easiest way to do it.  Also don't forget to backup your private key or memoric phrase safely.

Phrase is the primary key of the metamask account. If you download metamask on a smartphone, import it using the Secret Recovery Phrase, then enter the password, then enter the Phrase.
The next step you can add a new account by importing the account, entering the private key.

You were using seed phrase to log in your account. That will be adding all of your address in your smartphone. When you can get private key from all of those address and you can sign in all of your address easily. The problem is if seedpharase will let you to log in your account without adding the rest of address that you have generated it in your desktop wallet. Please export all of you private key and add it in your metamask phone.
It takes up to 5 minutes and you will be able to seeing all of your address in your phone. It's very easy.

Simply just hit the Import Account and log those accounts that are not appearing on your Smartphone.

Go back to your desktop for reference. You can see the private key of those accounts in Settings > Export Private Key.

Every account has its own private key. So as to get it, you should export it on your metamask on computer and then plug them on your phone. Only the main account (the first account) is being pugged automatically as the seed phrase of wallet is connected with it. So as to connect other accounts, you have to know their private keys.

Bro, if you're still using metamask you are using Windows 3.1 in 2021. Use NEAR protocol, it makes WEB3 as easy as checking your email. You can do things like farm on Ref Finance or trade NFTs on Paras for a fraction of a penny and within two second transactions.
