According to the rules and regulations of the government, any hospitality is generally allowed and transparent. But at the same time the MP's are receiving innumerable amount of funds which many people feel might be used to buy them, *to make impaired judgements* regarding the legalization of the casinos, gambling or any laws in that area.

All in General, 28 MP's are paid by Gambling companies and they received 224,281 pounds since August 2020. Not only that after receiving so called *hospitality* 3 MP's spoke out in the favour just after receiving the funds.

There have been evident attempt to change the decisions of the court, to influence the overall decisions regarding Gambling. Gambling is beneficial only when the legal authorities instead of using the money to speak, sit down, analyze, examine the effects, make appropriate changes and help it's citizens.

Obviously, that's how it works. If there's a lot of money, there's also corruption. Easy money is in the politics, that's why a lot of rich people with connections wants that power in able to steal anything they want while staying not guilty at the same time since they are the law. This kind of situation, especially now that we are just getting up from the pandemic, people are being greedy about the money, that's why they take this opportunity to get those sport betting freebies.

Yes it will affect the regulations and laws but not negatively. Those MPs are getting paid to make the gambling regulations easier.
Although they are being corrupted they will still favor the gambling casinos because of the huge money being paid to them.

One bad omen that goes with heavy wages is greed and selfishness. It's too obvious the Mps will be easily bought with the huge allocation the recovery from this casinos. And they would start playing politics with the regulation of this casinos bringing in toxic corruption and favoritism. It wouldn't surprise me if these 'hospitality' rules were being used to buy people with positions their say and judgment on anything. Of course, they will feel indebted to those who gave them 'hospitality' and they will, most certainly, try and align what those people want on them making decisions. It already is corruption when you used monetary 'gifts' to influence officers' decisions, even if gifts are allowed by the law. That's a lot of money, and compared with their wages, it's a no-brainer to sell your dignity and decisions at the right price.

As I understood from the article, all this money freebie was legal. We perfectly understand its meaning and this is obvious lobbying, and it looks very muddy, although from the point of view of the law everything is Ok.
I really did not like the other information from the article - as I understood, a reform will soon be carried out in the UK that will hit hard the gambling business, which is why the lobbyists of the companies have become so much more active.
In general, all that I understood from the article is that companies are forced (once again) to defend themselves against the fucking initiatives of officials.

Gambling comes with its sets of opportunities. Some people are in for the thrill, some to feed their addiction, others to manipulate the laws. It is what democracy & freedom allows, though best to have a choice than live in a place where everything is dictated and suppressed.

Of course, even in plain view this has become an act of bribery, and allowed this kind of tradition to extend to the gambling area. In fact, this is an activity that is not considered fair even though the policy benefits the gamblers themselves. But by paying a fee so that space can be given, it's the same for things outside that can also be easily legalized. The government that regulates this kind of thing does not think about the impact, they only prioritize what is in their interest.

When I think of corruption in sports, I think of explicit cases e.g. a player swaying a game in a particular sport to fix a game for a big monetary payoff. Since this is technically legal then it has to be called "lobbying" and while it should not be allowed in any democracy, the fact that it is so transparent takes a little bit of a sting out of it. You know these amounts because they were officially declared, by the MP's themselves, in the register of interests which was designed to limit lobbyist interference and we see it causes at least some restraint in the sums involved. Considering the sums these casinos generate in profit, these are almost insignificant amounts although they probably converted into some very nice hotel rooms and freebies for the end user. I don't think any government official should be taking on side salaries like this however, as it does generate large conflicts of interest and they're already being paid for what should be a full time job as a government minister.

Corruption has long since taken over absolutely all spheres of our life and gambling is no exception. Laws are written under the scrutiny and control of big business owners and in some countries, people working in the government and the legislature have some of the big companies, including those related to gambling, but do not register them in their name so it will cause a lot of questions from the public. Dictated or surppressed on the sense or to the limits which it isnt really that make citizens been choked that much.We do need everything to be organized and somewhat on the state on where people arent really put into trouble but honestly gambling is a personal choice but its normal that
we do really have different decisions and takings towards it and thats why we do see different situations ended up on each individual.
About corruption? nothing surprises me here, it does exist everywhere.
