You're long term with SLP? I find it not that have the potentially unless the devs of it would find a way to cut its unlimited supply or a burning mechanism to balance the supply.

I still got nothing new to invest with and still holding bitcoin as usual. I think Facebook's metaverse is interesting but there's lack of information about it and they'll just release some info about it soon once it's about to be launched.

According to my vision, privacy will be very sought after in a matter of years.  With the advance of technology, we are gradually losing more and more of our privacy every single day.  Take a step back and try to look at all the tech you own inside your home for a minute.  Think about the tech you had five, ten years ago.  Was it not way less intrusive?  Was it not way less under control of your home, thoughts or daily routine?  Last time I checked, I did not have light bulbs that turned on if I asked them to.  I did not have a watch that warned me the route I take to my job was busier than usual.  I was mostly me and myself, with my own thoughts.

Technology is cool, but there is a limit and I reckon we are going to touch it sooner than we believe.  Too much is just too much.  In consequence, things that are focused on privacy today are probably going to be the trending of tomorrow.  Interestingly, you chose the Meta Verse as one of the technologies of the future.  How about investing in both the Meta Verse and privacy oriented tech so that you are under constant advantage?  With the evolution of Meta Verse and technology, there will be more and more skepticism and feel of being controlled coming.

Not uninterested, just before Mark's announcement of the Metaverse came out, we were already at Sandbox with the same scale and vision to build 3D virtual worlds and manage every piece of land. But it is saturated and not much evaluation has been done. Then the emergence of this Metaverse, maybe almost the same only on a global scale we create 3D worlds, interacting virtually with each other. What is the guarantee of the future, maybe people only interact indirectly and reduce the points of face-to-face physical interaction. A sophisticated future actually gives birth to individuals with virtual worlds that are abstract and not concrete.

I just can't see SLP being a long term investment. It has unlimited supply and the burning process is just balance. In the future, it's going to be as stable with the burning and minting being balance, as they intended it to be.

It is clear that people are getting into NFT world a lot, but the gaming of NFT world is still not "there" yet. I believe that the power of Axie should have allowed other projects to come out as well but for some reason it didn't, I do not know why but nothing else got famous. I seriously believe if today Pokemon company came out and said that they are building a game like Axie but for pokemon instead of silly blips then that could be 1+ billion dollar worth thing.

The graphics could be a lot better and it is obvious that Axie already took that fighting style out of pokemon as well, so it would basically be something as amazing as it gets. This is just one example, I can see multiple other stuff, copyrights keep most of them away, but as soon as some other stuff get in or better games come out then it will definitely be something a lot better. Axie is just the start, I am waiting for a better one to come out soon.

The dog meme coin market is saturated with copycats, and NFTs will not survive crypto winter. Metaverse and gaming will survive, and so will DeFi where you can stake and lend at high APY.

Lending markets give you the most gains, so that side of DeFI will continue. Leaving coins on a site for staking and mining during crypto winter will give you major profits when winter ends and the recovery starts

Meta from Facebook is still just a vague promise of a company that is aware that has to disrupt itself to become something not just larger, but to actually have any meaningful future. Execution is going to be critical on any new endeavour and it may just fail big scale as other projects.

However, should meta start to realise its potential, there is an immense source of potential jobs and sales opportunities. It may happen that all the already existing shops have to make a go for the new metaverse or be obsolete, just as now they cannot do without online sales.

I'm interested in the metaverse, but there's very little information about it.
I imagine if Mark can bring his Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp into the metaverse, I think this business will be good, at least Mark has "KYC ed" active users who are ready to be mobilized into the metaverse.
