Bitcoin will not be stopped just because they say it consumes a lot of energy and mining will continue as normal.
Who is "they"?
There is another solution to this problem other than trying to ban mining because electricity consumption.
What problem?
They all want to advance with technology and one thing they don’t keep in mind that everything needs to be connected to a source.
And again I ask, who is "they"?
Take as an example the electric cars, they need a lot of electricity to be used on a daily basis plus the batteries they contain are more toxic for the environment than regular vehicles that run on petrol or diesel. Those have increased the consumption and pollution by “running green” more than it was before. There is a difference in the city but the places creating that energy are polluting more than usual.
Well now, that's a load of nonsense.
Do electric cars need electricity to run? Sure. That's what makes them "electric" cars.
Do electric cars need A LOT of electricity? Maybe, maybe not, that depends on how we define "a lot". They certainly use less than 1.5 petawatt-hours.
Are the batteries toxic for the environment? Not while they are in the car.
Are the batteries more toxic for the environment than burning petroleum products in a "regular vehicle" for the entire life a the vehicle? Absolutely not.
Have electric vehicles "increased the consumption" of petroleum products and increased "pollution" more than the vehicles that were used before? No, that's simple nonsense.
Are "the places creating that energy" increasing pollution more than the petroleum vehicle that's being replaced? No, just no. Go read a book. Learn something. You're sounding ridiculous.
The Blockchain and Bitcoin have a different meaning for this society than everything else.
That's a meaningless sentence. Doesn't EVERYTHING have a different meaning for this society than everything else?
For example, I'm pretty sure my peanut-butter and jelly sandwich that I ate for lunch today has a different meaning for society than the commercial jet that flew from New York to Los Angeles, didn't it?
It has provided security over these years
What type of security? Did it reduce the number of people being killed? Did it reduce the number of people that are getting scammed? Did it reduce the quantity of ransom demands?
and internet has become different ever since.
A lot has changed with the internet in the past 12 years. Very little of that change has anything to do with Bitcoin.
Miners will use as much energy as required until new solutions are put in place.
Another meaningless statement.
Everyone will always use as much energy as they require to accomplish the things they want to accomplish until they decide to accomplish something else.
I'll use as much energy as required to get out of bed each day until I stop getting out of bed each day.
Let’s not forget what happened in 2008
Cyprus and Malta accepted the Euro?
Iran launched a rocket into space?
Kosovo declared independence from Serbia?
The brightest event in the Universe ever recorded happened?
An earthquake in China killed nearly 100,000 people?
Manchester United won their third European Cup?
India and the U.S. signed the Civil Nuclear Deal?
11 people die on K2?
The summer Olympics?
SpaceX launched their first ever orbital rocket?
Barack Obama became the first ever African-American President?
and what Bitcoin has done for the society for so many years.
Has "society" really changed much in the past 12 years? If it has, was any significant change due to the existence of Bitcoin?
As is the first cryptocurrency launched with success people can’t say it does bad for the environment when it’s exactly the opposite.
People can, and will, say lots of things. Bitcoin has an effect on the environment. Everything that humans do has an effect on the environment. Whether that effect is "bad" or "good" depends on things such as perspective, values, morals, judgement, and opinion.
This technology has brought a lot of benefits
Benefits to the environment?
Benefits to society?
Benefits to you?
Benefits to me?
Any examples?
and now that is valued at over 1 trillion there is someone looking to stop it.
People have been "looking to stop it" since it was launched. People will continue to "look to stop it" for as long as it exists. That's just the nature of the human condition.
That’s not the case, Bitcoin is here to stay.
Forever? Forever is a very long time. Are you sure about that? Nothing else will ever come along to replace it so long as humans continue to exist?
Satoshi Nakamoto
Nonsense, just nonsense. Your writing style looks nothing like his. Your ability to think analytically and logically is nothing like his. If you're Satoshi Nakamoto (the creator of Bitcoin), then I am God (the creator of all that is good and holy).
