I recently installed the official firmware, for the 7007 card, on a bitmain S11 miner using an SD card. This was because the miner had stopped mining. After this, the miner still couldn't mine and I couldn't connect to the ssh port. Before doing this, I tried many things: read the logs, reset to the default configuration, test with various mining pools, etc. But all that was unsuccessful.

I was hoping that through the ssh port I could start the mining programs manually and get some diagnosis that it was failing with the miner. So I would like to be able to recover the connection with that port. Previously I also tried this and couldn't see any messages that made sense. Unfortunately, do not take note of the log messages from the miner programs (bmminer and cgminer).

If anyone also knows of a diagnostic software tool for these miners, I would appreciate it if you would inform me. Especially a tool that can be copied via ssh and run on the miners themselves.

If you flashed it with the latest bitmain s11 firmware then your miner is SSH disabled if you read the description of the firmware from Bitmain you should see SSH closed for this unit.

Anyway, about your problem why not share with us the kernel logs and let us analyze them for you if what is the issue of your unit.

If you want to enable the SSH again there is a way to open it again just flash it through an SD card the firmware is already from Bitmain but if you don't know where then use the link below.

Thanks for your answer. I can send you the kernel logs in a next message.

As for the link that you provide me, it was precisely the same one that I installed, which disabled the ssh port.

Try the firmware on this page: https://www.asicclub.com.ua/en/asic-firmware/. But he did not open the ssh port either. It looks like it is the exact same firmware from bitmain. It does not appear that they took away or added anything to it.

Here I found ideas to modify the firmware, but I'm still not sure if that will help me get the ssh port back: https://serhack.me/articles/unpacking-asic-firmware-antminer-exploited/

Are you trying to promote these websites?
Actually never heard of these websites and I do not recommend using firmware from that source it could be a virus.

Maybe your miner SD card reader doesn't work properly if you can disassemble the unit check the control board then check the terminal of the SD card maybe it has some rust and corrosion clean them with petrol or isopropyl alcohol. Then try to flash it again through an SD card and use firmware only from Bitmain

I am not promoting any particular website. I just thought that information was relevant. These are the kernel log messages. I don't have the necessary technical level to understand everything it says, but it does seem that there are some suspicious messages, like this:  "Couldn't hear AN voltage response from IIC". And :

"power.c:629:set_iic_power_voltage: power voltage abnormal
driver-btm-c5.c:12205:stop_mining: power abnormal"

I read in another bitcoin talk thread that the problem could be that the required voltage is 240V and not the 120V of the network that I have.

As for the SD terminal having some corrosion, I don't think so. The reason why it shouldn't be failing is that the flash process was fully accomplished just as I said in the videos and tutorials I saw. After completing the firmware copy, the lights began to blink at 1 second intervals. This does not happen when trying to flash with an invalid image. Less if you can't read it due to corrosion. I think this is important to clarify because I am still interested in getting the ssh port back, for which I need a firmware image that can do that.

All I see on the logs you have are related to power it seems that your problem is your PSU. I don't have much knowledge about this miner because the logs are different compared to other Antminer machines.

Why not try to run your miner with one hashboard or do one by one test you can follow the guide from this link below

Maybe your PSU is not giving enough power that is why your miner is not running properly if you could test them one by one and all are running properly then your PSU is the culprit. Also, don't forget to test mine on another pool.

How did you flash your miner through an SD card? Did you extract firmware that you download from bitmain?
There is two SD card firmware for s11 7007 and 7010 you must download a specific firmware for your miner then extract and put all extracted file to the SD card.
If it was successfully flashed with an SD card you should notice some changes on the firmware version under the miner dashboard but if the SSH still doesn't open then try to hard reset the unit by holding the IPreport/Reset button for 10 to 15 seconds then release.

My esteemed friend, BitMaxz:

My apologies, my boot disk got damaged when I was doing various tests with the miner. Since then I lost the password, among many other things and therefore stopped participating in the forum, while trying to recover from that problem. Finally, over 1 week ago I did test the cards one by one as BitMaxz said and was able to get the miner to mine at a rate of 5TH / s. Unfortunately it only works with a single card. The other two cards don't work. The miner restarts over and over again when trying to mine with just any of the other cards. I am now looking into the possibility of repairing the other two cards, but I still need to do a lot more research. Any recommendation in that regard?

Many thanks to BitMaxz
