Well, that well asked question. They just loose their value that's driven buy the terms of demand and supply. As time elapses, and there is lots of going on the markets, not all the cryptos keep their value and just diminish. That's saddest part. but inevitable.

Losing appeal , what does it mean for you? the capitalization of Cryptocurrency is still valuing to over 2.5 THRILLION is that not appealing for you? back in 2017 when 20k had been broken the market capitalization is nearing 1 Thrillion but then people says it is really appealing so what more now?

Reaching to a level where the whole crypto market total cap in 2017 is lower than what just bitcoin alone is right now. I get that bitcoin is the biggest so it is not a shock but I could say that it is definitely not something we should be approaching lightly neither. Crypto is doing fine, yes we may have some downs time to time but the reality is that we are doing fine overall.

I am quite happy that I am holding, I have been holder for years now and I am quite happy with the increase, I don't care if it has some little drops here and there because that is small amounts for the overall trajectory of bitcoin so far. I would love to see people checking out the historical data and tell me when was the last time we lost money over a whole year, it rarely happens (2018) and it is overall increasing very rapidly when you consider the speed with other assets.

For starters you can not compare blockchains to tokens in one category as these already have a role to play in the crypto ecosystem of housing several tokens on its blockchain which guarantees its relevance and demand, so already this is some unfair advantage. By the way I think as of today we should be moving into the 3rd or 4th generation of coins which means these have different usage beside being speculative like the first gen coins were bitcoin and others belong. Todays coins are more of utility based tokens which should be appealing to us and not necessary losing it...I think its all because we have too many coins entering the market which makes it difficult to sieve out the shitcoins.

Don't refer to the value of the crypto, because you will feel left behind forever, you don't need to force large amounts if the value of the balance you have can be managed properly. All you have to do is focus on managing the amount held in crypto and then maximize it. If you just keep referring to the volume of crypto growth, then things will get further and further away.

It's too early to ask a question that you didn't look for in the first place because of the fact that it all has to have a good foundation that leads to the right context. It will not lose its appeal, other than cryptocurrencies that only rest on the hype. Does the coin you mention have a specific season?

BTC hit ATH about 2-3 weeks ago and you are thinking they are losing their appeal? Everywhere I go I see people looking at cryptos on their phone or discussing cryptos with the people they are talking too. We got ads by Crypto.com on TV and billboards and stadiums are getting named.

Sure we had a rough week however we needed a pullback... too many people were thinking BTC would hit $98K at the end of Nov. Those people need to be flushed from the market.

What happens is that a great deal of people are interested in the short term fluctuations in the price that we see in bitcoin and nothing else, for us that are invested in bitcoin not only for the monetary gain but also because we believe in the project and the huge changes that it will introduce to the world bitcoin is more than just a way to make money, however for a great deal of the people entering the market now this is not true, so it makes sense that is all what they care about.

If you believe the information from some economists, then in the near future our international financial (dollar) system will disintegrate into currency zones. New coins keep popping up and we don't know for sure which coins really have promising potential,

In addition to BNB, SOL, ETH and BTC there are still many coins that are currently growing so fast that they can rival the top rank of CMC such as polygon which is currently increasing in price until it is close to the top 10 in CMC, but for a sudden decline we have often seen in all coins including bitcoin so this has become the nature of every coin that exists, and for the appeal has always survived until now large companies have glanced at the current crypto movement.

That is what will happen because most of the coins/project are copycat from other project that already exist meaning there is no originality and the basic idea is that all are created for sole purpose but to make quick profit and then abandoned  the project or just leave it there without any progress in the future \, because the team will focus with another creation and same old style, making money and move to another.
we must be aware of this and never support those kind of project, instead look for unique one that has valuable idea on how to help people in technology and not just in profiteering .
