Matic is already a stable coin for these past few months. As I remember back last quarter, I started to play around on the Matic network since before it was the only first famous layer 2 chain on top of Ethereum, I play around on some DeFi farming there. And I own some Matic or earn some Matic there.

All the major altcoins got dumped harder than bitcoin did, just like they always do whenever bitcoin price has a small drop. Meanwhile (again like always) there are a handful of shitcoins that are being selected every day to be pumped hard which can take from half a day to a week or two. Obviously they are all follow that pump with a dump after they run out of steam and the pumpers select another batch of shitcoins to pump. Those chosen shitcoins to pump can be among the major altcoins too.

I do not think we know accurately how high Matic will increase. The only thing you can do is just set your target price and wait for a while. Let the pump still go on for Matic and if the pump is not reached your target price, you do not have to do anything.

You can buy back Matic if you want but you should wait for the next correction after the pump. Maybe Matic can break $5-$10 but we do not know how long that will happen. You can buy and hold it if you do not want to see the price go up and down.

I believe, that after a slight pullback in recent days, the support level formed at 1.5, and the resistance line at 1.7. It is necessary to break through the resistance line for further growth and possible establishment of new ATH. Fundamental indicators show this likelihood.
