my goal in creating this topic is so that we don't miss a great opportunity to make a big profit because nowadays most of the nft / metaverse projects are still very new.

Looks like most of NFT/METAVERSE related cryptocurrencies these days are pumping, even shitcoin or useless, lol.
What currently I am afraid of these days is the bubbler on NFT/METAVERSE, since there are still some of the cryptocurrencies that are already public-traded but still, no project or use cases or product at all that users will be able to use or any utility of their token.

But yeah most of them are in the plan or in their roadmap, that's why I am careful now investing in these NFT/METAVERSE-related projects. Staratlas is only familiar among the list for me as I was able to join before on their poster sale which included some in-game items and I have already some shipped there. I am just worried because they are still no product or their game is still not avaialble at all up to this date.

With decentralized exchanges, any team can add liquidity pool and open trading for their tokens. So things now are different than when we did not have DEX. Exchange listing on CEX in the past is kind of thing to consider that project spends money to list their coins and can be considered as a plus for non scam. It is not true. They listed their coins and made scam exit. With DEX, it is easier.

But yeah most of them are in the plan or in their roadmap, that's why I am careful now investing in these NFT/METAVERSE-related projects. Main issues of NFT/Metaverse is they are not developing in the Metaverse phase. Metaverse is something in their roadmap only. For now, they are just NFT games. Next issue is their tokenomic are unsustainable and if they can not adjust or resolve their tokenomic issues, their reward pools will be drained out before the Metaverse phase.

Additionally, to play Metaverse games, the requirement for gamers is expensive maybe and I don't know how many Play-to-Earn gamers will become Metaverse gamers

Most NFTs/DeFi token are no different from the ICO hype before and most of these tokens you mentioned probably pump as you expected but that's just it once you see a continuous pump, the drop of it will be very heavy that most investors gamble their money hoping this kind of project would give them a good profit. Well, it will give a good profit or so but the risk is you don't know when these shitcoins will start to dump.

This is not a financial advice but invest on your own risk and always do your own research before investing a certain coin. Most of these newly created tokens/coins are being manipulated in order to look like it's going to be the next promising coins.

the same when ICO, IDO etc boom, there are also many useless projects that have sprung up and this is also happening right now. so we are forced to be more careful and thorough in choosing which NFT project we will invest in.

Star Atlas is very promising, I also participated in their initial sale, I really can't wait for the game to be released for real.

I have found great metaverse project Pavia, First Metaverse built on the Cardano blockchain.

I’m pretty Bullish about it, I think it has more to offer than those built on Ethereum such as Decentraland and Sandbox
Manage to get 30 plots on first sale I'm holding
The team   Cardano Buzz is solid . He was part of the Team who created CNFT
Second land sale (31 000 plots)  sold in minutes didnt get any.
When its launch with all features can be one of the big metaverse project.

I went straight to Pavia's site and saw that the second land sale was over. I will try to keep an eye on pavia and maybe make a small investment as I am not so sure if pavia will be able to compete with sandbox, decentraland or others.

Dump, dump and dump. All of metaverse tokens are dumping so hard. It's too hard to predict the direction of metaverse token. The metaverse token didn't have good performance with this dump. It seems like forecast for the metaverse tokens are not working good right now as whatever prediction that already made but when the bitcoin dump wil occur and it will be wiping out all of coins in the market to be in the same performance as bitcoin. ATLAS, Monsta, Revomon have been going to the bottom just in a week and that's so fast. You can imagine when it will be going even deeper than the current rate.
Those tokens were good but not for this time. The market is still unpredictable.

But I own an Axie.

The Axies and its tokens now are very cheap compared to few months ago. I don't know what lies for these but I'm holding on believing they'll be rewarding for the next years.

Star atlas was a garbage project with the hope to copy star citizen. So many investors are feeling disappointed caused by the team can't even release the minigame lol. You can imagine that a project that raised multi millions USD didn't have alpha or beta product. So many people are only waiting for the minigame. People paid millions dollars for a minigame. To be honest this project was full with BS.
Monsta infinite was aiming to copy axie infinity. I do believe it will have same mechanism with axie infinity. So many people are also getting hyped just because this one is popular enough.
Only a few projects that create their own game based on their own ideas. There are bunch of copy cat games from the offline game that exist in the market. Metaverse was good but it's not for all of projects in your list.

First, yes, agree. NFT and metaverse projects are super super interesting, on the basis of metaverse and gaming alone. But on the other hand, when I look at the projects themselves, they tend to be all about staking and token price, so no different from IDOs, just with a gaming/metaverse element.

I've yet to see an actual metaverse project where the majority of users are really into the game and not into the token.

So I have big doubts about how long that kind of project can last.

I would not be surprised to see that. Start citizen needs a lot of time to develop its game while this one calle star atlas has been promised to develop the similar game like start citizen in a short time.

There are too many projects but not enough games, that is the main problem. We have seen so many projects that keep promising something will be available and you will be able to do stuff and so forth but how many of them actually provided some proof of that? Star Atlas seems "great" if you check the videos but when you check what you have in your hands, that is not a game, it is just a website and some social media places. This is why I do not like to invest in things that just promises stuff but can't do it just yet.

Back in the day, there were a lot of people with "startup ideas" but they never got any investment hence failed to do their projects, today that turned around and now there are tons of money going into ideas but there are no projects. Axie may or may not be a great investment right now, I do not own any axs or slp, but at least they did provided something, others did not do so.
