e-Money stablecoins are collateralized (not algorithmic) stablecoins and are collateralized in the same currency as which they are issued (so the eEUR stablecoin is collateralized in Euros, etc.).

e-Money stablecoins have a novel design which allows them to handle both positive and negative interest rate environments (crucial to maintaining their value in all market conditions, unlike other stablecoins).
