I've been trying for 2 days to transfer USDT from my Coinbase wallet to my MEXC wallet. However, every single time I put in the deposit address from MEXC, I go over to Coinbase and it says "No Results: This recipient either doesn't exist or is set to private". Well, of course the account exists. Also, I'm copying the address using the "copy" icon, so I know it's correct. And I don't see how/where the Mexc account could be set to private. The only thing I could think of is perhaps it's because I haven't set up my advanced KYC; I only did the primary one...But I'm even having trouble w/ that because it's saying I didn't upload my license, which was done repeatedly...Please help...I've been doing this over and over and over again, to no avail, and it's very exhausting. Thank you in advance!

Have you tried to contact mxec live support? I'm sure they definitely have the right answer for the issue you are facing, and if you say it could be because you haven't done advanced KYC then this can't be ignored and you should do it.

Make sure you are choosing the correct network. IIRC, Coinbase only supports USDT ERC-20 on the Ethereum network, so you need to pick the ERC-20 network on the MexC deposit address.

What alphabet or letter did the address start from and what network are you sending to?

The pereon is not getting it correctly, he is providing an address that is not valid, contacting customers supoort should not be in the case of address to deposit to, he should use the address coinbase support. I have not even heard of this wallet before, or he should use the wallet that support the address coinbase support.

THANK YOU!!! You are a God-send. I'd watched a YouTube video and the guy said he used TRC-20 to transfer USDT because it was cheaper & faster, and so I was following his instructions verbatim. Wow. I promise, this crypto game is something else!! For a newbie like me trying to learn all the little nuances, it'll have you pulling your hair out! Geesh!  Thanks again. And thank you to everyone else that offered help!

You should take a precaution when you want to send or receive a token/cryptocurrencies between an exchange(or any wallet that you didn't control the key / custodial wallet). If you are sending the cryptocurrencies in the wrong network/chain or any unsupported cryptocurrencies within the exchange, it's very likely your money will be lost, and there is a little possibility you can't can get it back.

Don't rely on which transaction fees are cheaper, instead, you should choose a supported token/cryptocurrency and chain/network between any exchange or service.

Hey buddy, it seems coinbase saved you!

If you sent USDT to wrong chain then it will be lost completely so never mess again with tokens which is available in different blockchains. And you're in the right place so you can gain more knowledge by interacting with the community and can become and expert. Wink

There is something I'd like to ask you dude, did you check the network did you used? because if you didn't set it up or check it before sending the coins, your assets might possible to be loss for sure, but try to review your transaction first before asking here in the forum dude, so that other members here may know what help they can- give to you.
