Should you sell ethereum and btc to buy Solana/SOL?

Solona is not a good alternative, better to look for small marketcap altcoins. The main issues are still there, you have to be careful with low marketcap coins btw, the scam projects can trick new investors for robbing their last penny. ADA looks sweet at this price point.

ADA and SOL are both ok to me, so this could be the option if ever and for me, I will not sell my Bitcoin and ETH just to have SOL since those top two coins are still prefer by many but if you see big opportunity with SOL, they buy it beside its the top 5 coin as of the moment and it numbers are doing good as well, I’m amazed on the numbers of SOL compare to ETH, it continues to increase this could be an additional factor to buy SOL.

SOL coins are very good to invest in the future but if you have to sell BTC or ETH I think it's not worth it maybe if you already have BTC and ETH keep holding them and look for other sources of money to buy SOL because indeed these three coins will be very promising for the future.

Conversion is one of the best strategy in engaging for crypto investing because we know how currency moves here and there in favor of some while falling for some so best to convert the coins to others.

But Bitcoin and Ethereum? why would you? instead of converting why not use you other funds such as Fiat in buying Solana than making this wrong action .

Ttuth be told, Solana has just grown too fast for anybody to sell their holding of either bitcoin or ethereum which are not only the popular coins but also have one of the biggest communities to help them grow.
My advise would be if you have ethereum or bitcoin hodl and dont sell either of them...  let solana be a seperate invest and compare them at the end of your desired period.

There's an uncertainty among alts when the bears comes in, they tend to lose more of their market value compared to Bitcoin. Even Ethereum in the past has the same fate as the other alt, therefore having to sell you Bitcoin is already a wrong move. Buying Solana now won't be advisable as well, I could be wrong and itt does moon in the coming weeks but in the long run it'll fall together with the market as it get corrected.

During this corrections is when it's best advise to get in and hold until the next bull cycle begins. Solana has an interesting concept they're working on and it would be worth betting on but not at the risk of Ethereum or Bitcoin. This are two coins you shouldn't sell but just keep holding. The whole cryptocurency space was built around this two coins and they'll always maintain their dominance.

It's good for long term and you can try to compare Solana's marketcap with bitcoin or ethereum. Solana needs a lot of ROI to make the marketcap to be the same like bitcoin or ethereum. That means if the potential of Solana to go to the moon will always there. The sky was the limit but that would be more reasonable if we are using bitcoin marketcap as a limit that can be achieved by any crypto.
This one is good for long term investment and I'm thinking if it's not a good decision to keep your money on bitcoin and ethereum while both already have very big marketcap.
More marketcap and less room to growth and you can imagine when Solana can have the same marketcap like bitcoin and ethereum. That will be going so big.

If there's one coin that I would sell to buy Solana (SOL) then it's going to be ethereum and bitcoin. Because while ethereum is also in the top promising altcoins, its market is having a very hard time right now in the past few weeks and months as I observed it. Also its gas fees is really quite expensive so instead of making more profits, it's deducted by the high fees so you'll end up dealing it and have lesser profits. Solana and Cardano is the best altcoins to buy now, and I'm also investing in those said markets.

I think holding bitcoin and ethereum is safer, even though Solana looks promising but the 2 biggest coins namely bitcoin and ethereum are the ones that control the market, moreover the market is still not recovering so I prefer to hold ETH and BTC rather than switch to Solana.

Of course, Bitcoin and Ethereum are the most stable on the market, because they have been there for the longest time. Why?because SOL is known as a ethereum killer and because of how it skyrocketed and reach all time high values in just a short of time? Solana is very good for long term investment. Solana is very popular these days and even buying it at the current price doesn't hurt but if I have btc then I won't sell it for solana but if I have ethereum then I will sell it for solana.

Long term it won't matter Solana's a modern day blockchain and it's growing fast, DCA if you believe in the product is what i alway's say price wise who know's but the potential is surely here can't deny that.

Why would I sell my holdings on bitcoin and ethereum? When infact I'm already making profits from these two coins for the past years that I'm hodling it. That would be the worst decision ever to be made if I sell it because these coins are also promising like Solana (SOL).
What I would do is to invest/buy Solana to maximize the profits in my portfolio, I don't have to sell anything.

I'm certainly not a professional, but I think it's a very bad idea to sell the most current cryptocurrencies, i.e. Bitcoin and Ethereum, today.  But nevertheless, there is an opportunity to invest in other assets.If you trade, then thanks to the income from trading, you can invest in other cryptocurrencies.  This is how I do and buy Defi, like Junca Cash, which in my opinion will be a very effective platform for financial transfers.

I would hold Ethereum instead of selling to buy Solana, even though Solana is a fantastic coin and the best performance for a year but ETH is an old coin that has the second largest marketcap so it is safe for us to hold long term.

Yes, that will not be a good idea to sell Ethereum and buy Solana. Ethereum will is one of many potential altcoins that will be profitable in the future, while although Solana has the same chance, Solana still needs more time before can do like what Ethereum did. But if those people want to sell their Ethereum to buy Solana, they are free to do that but I hope they will not regret making that decision. Besides that, Solana is still at a low price compared to Ethereum, maybe they need to wait until Ethereum hits the next ATH, then they can sell it to buy Solana.

I don’t think it is better idea to sell Bitcoin and Ethereum to buy Solana (SOL) all crypto-currency market now on Dip. If the price of Bitcoin does not rise again, then the price of any coin will not rise. So at first you should focus on Bitcoin. Bitcoin is father. So i wouldn’t sell Bitcoin for Solana (SOL)

Try to reconsider if you want to sell your Btc/Eth because it is a very valuable asset and not everyone can own it even JP Morgan has predicted that the crypto asset will be able to break through $ 146 thousand next year, but if you wish to have (SOL ) I think it's a good decision because (SOL) is also considered as one of the attractive commodities so it has a strong potential to move higher in 2022. I think we also have to buy (SOL) but by not selling btc/eth what if the coins move together.

Solana can't outshine ethereum in investment. BSC and Solana can be running in low fee transactions but that doesn't mean ethereum has lost it all due to their high fee transactions. Let's not forget ethereum 2.0 will soon commence, there is still hope for the issue of a high fee to resolve.
Ethereum remains the peoples choice for long term investment, as for Solana it can be dumped at any time because the majority of her investment is in for quick profits than hodling it for a long term, which can lead to a big price dump.

Lately the Solana ecosystem has grown very rapidly and made the price movement of the SOL coin also experience a high increase in a short time, the Solana coin has indeed become one of the good coins to invest because it is able to provide a large return, but at this time I personally don't think if I have to sell BTC and ETH to put in the SOL coin because I am more trusting and very safe investing with BTC and ETH.
