I don’t know if this is a good place to ask, but currently looking for some advice about the best way to store kas cold, preferably with key offline…what’s the best way to keep it locked away? Any rec is appreciated. Thank u.

Tangem wallet or even Ledger that now supports Kas.

How is the security with those? Since they are connected to the internet, what are they risks of hacking, of getting compromised? Was looking for a method that would keep it all offline, but guess would be ok otherwise if security was very high.

Think the passphrase is stored offline.

India imposed a 30% tax on crypto gains back in 2022. Don't forget to pay the taxman!

Looks like smart contracts is well underway for Kaspa. Im done with anything ethereum related and solana could not carry the ball across the goal line when they had their chance this year. Hopefull Kaspa will be different.

We are excited to announce the first stable #RustyKaspa (RK) node Release (version 0.14.1).

This is a significant milestone for the Kaspa network, as it marks the point where we shift to a new improved and optimized engine, which can now be built upon and accelerated to its limits.

Adoption is well underway for Kaspa. Marathon Mining (MARA) announced last month that have been mining Kaspa with 30 peta hash and will have another 30 petahash aimed at Kaspa by years end. Many OG Bitcoiners are not happy about this. Kaspa is the real deal and Marathon mining knows this too.

Merchant adoption is not great. Black market merchants are unlikely to switch from Monero unless Kaspa offers them transactional privacy. Support for kaspa in P2P trading software such as Haveno or BasicSwap would help.

Privacy coins are not worth it at all. It just brings down extra scrutiny and regulation. Look at what Binance and Kraken did to Monero. They caved into regulatory pressure and de-listed it. The price of Monero hasn't moved in years.

The price of Monero has not moved in years due to its faulty tokenomics. That said it is a coin that protects its users from
the governments - and due to this phenomenon its price has become relatively stable. Delistings are not a problem as long as due to privacy features and low fees the currency such as Monero remains transactional.

Couple of individuals managed to withdraw their kas, but that window lasted like 5-10 minutes. For now back under status 'rugged'.
