let the newbie/weak sells their funds in this situation because for us who knows the market ? this is our time to purchase while the price is discounted lol.

A lot of people have been tweeting buy the dip as of late, and that's most probably the reason that caused the chain of events leading to the hashtag. This is a common thing that's happening whenever bitcoin goes to a slump after a great price movement for a long time. Perhaps people are still in denial and are certain that bitcoin would only move up and nowhere else (which is somewhat true in the long run).

I'm just surprised though that not a lot of big names in crypto are voicing their intent to buy on these "bargain" prices on bitcoin.

Do you think people are really buying the dip. The fear and greed index (https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/) suggests that no one is buying and everyone is fearful. I am afraid that we are now at extreme fear with value 21, as people are afraid of new covid variant and no one wants to invest any amount at present.

Within the space of a few short months, his decision to make BTC legal tender in El Salvador has had a major impact on the country, and set it on a course that will free it from its status as a vassal state. It seems like HODL was trending before and now buythedip took charge.  I wonder if all those people are sending fiat to exchanges every time to buy the dip, or they make reserves before by exchanging their existing crypto to usdt.
