If not for the recent hack volcan forge experience, the coin was doing really great, the team are working hard to put things back on track and finding solutions to ensure the hacker don't enjoy the stolen pyr, and they also plan to conduct  a buy back to help support the price,

For new projects, that was really hard to make a long-term investment as they are proven yet and mostly just run through hypes which made their price spikes. What I do is to look into their trade volume and once seeing an established market spread, that is the time to make a decision about buying but, of course, I don't spend a lot with them as I'm still confident investing known coins.

Never sell a good token or coin too early , I've made this mistake several times since I got into crypto.
Another mistake which you wouldn't want to or like to make is buying when the token or coin is already high, don't buy a coin when it's just listed cus you are likely going to later sell them off at a great loss, check out dego token, it got listed on binance and it pumped to over $40 usd, few days later, it went back down to below $8 usd which was its initial price before the binance listing.
