I'm a webmaster who started online with forums like phpbb and invisionfree, along with IPB and vBulliten, I eventually moved on to WordPress and whatnot but I've made my return to a message board after about 15 years, glad to be part of a community again. Can anyone let me know where we can make some bitcoins around here or sell off stuff for some bitcoins? Let me know, I want to join the waves.

Search into the Marketplace. There's the Services sub-board where you can sell your services or buy others', the Goods which is what says and lots of other cool stuff. As for the Services sub-board, you may find signature campaigns. This is when you sell your signature space in this forum to earn few bucks by posting constructively.

BlackHatCoiner has already given you an excellent reply, however I would like to add that every new person within this wild west of a market would be better first studying a little bit what cripto is about and eventually buy a bit of Bitcoin or any top cripto of your interest so you can learn about the fees, the KYC (Know your client policies), the volality, etc.

And Please use common sense and do not invest more than you are willing to lose.

Mate, if you're actually good with some web stuff, you're actually better off doing some projects or gigs and use the money you've earned to buy bitcoin. Trust me, it would be a lot more worth your time and I'm not even kidding. Almost anything concerning development can pay really good.

That would be a casino if op is actually good with web stuff and also starting a service for those who also want to start a casino. I could also say that it's worth your time if op always spend time doing word press or what op is very good at then that would be a good start. @OP, if you decide doing what mk4 suggested then good luck but if not then tty visiting marketplace snd services.

There is actually a dedicated sticky post about How to Earn Bitcoins. It contains basic information and links about the different ways to earn bitcoins, although some of them suggested are no longer profitable, such as faucets. The most common or reliable way is offering a service in exchange for Bitcoin or selling some goods on the forum.
You already have a skill, now you just need to market that.

Quite a timing that I was reading about WordPress Development just couple of minutes ago. WordPress is quite popular in job posting when I recently checked my Job Feed in Upwork. I know this forum is different from Upwork (obviously), but since you asked where can you make some BTC, read as what BlackHatCoiner mentioned below you.
LaborX is also an option, though they pay in variety of cryptos and you asked about how to earn BTC in here.

Yep, I've personally spent a few hundred dollars on plugins a few years ago just to quickly solve some problems without going too deep into the code. If OP is clever enough to create a plugin that easily solves a certain problem that a lot of people have, he/she could easily make life changing(depending where he/she's from) amounts of money.

@OP just as suggested, just go to freelance marketplaces and sell your skill. There's no need for any complicated thing you need to know but just work for someone and get paid and buy bitcoin.
You can also make an offer of getting paid by bitcoin if any client of yours wants to pay you with bitcoin. It's also fine if somebody wants to pay you in common altcoin because you can still exchange that with bitcoin.

Just to add what Stalker mentioned, you can also browse through the marketplace section for other stuff. Under the services section of the forum, you can create a thread offering your specific services for a reasonable consideration (which is BTC), or you could go to the marketplace for general stuff for sale.

Mostly, I see lots of forum members posting threads under the Services board offering different requests depending on the needs of the client. Be careful, however, since there are some people who might take advantage of such.
