Ok, so here I'm gonna mention three sites which does not require investment and may help you in getting your feet wet in crypto.

These are basically Reddit of crypto, people appreciate your content by 'upvote', whose value is based on one's upvote power (which is based on powered up steem, hive, blurt respectively)

I think the best way to start In crypto without investment (not literally) is as a hobby and practice of trading, just enough to learn the ropes but not enough to start making any money. As time goes by it may become a money maker but even then is is better to start with the small amount as possible and slowly become familiar with trading. Investing however is a whole other topic and needs to be tackled with much caution and homework.
Another option is to offer your time and your skill set in exchange for a crypto. To me that is the only real way to make money in crypto.

I was introduced to steem by an acquaintance a couple of years back, but have since not been active on it anymore as I mostly do not have time to handle an account on it or maybe I do not have the bloggind skills to actually utilize an account.

Speaking of the topic title, it may not need any monetary investment, but you'll need to invest your time, knowledge and skills inorder to properly navigate those platforms, such skills applied to some other website could still result in earnings which one could use to buy Bitcoin; But being on a crypto inclined platform usually allows one interested in it to discuss freely.

As time goes by it may become a money maker but even then is is better to start with the small amount as possible and slowly become familiar with trading. Investing however is a whole other topic and needs to be tackled with much caution and homework.

In my experience trading is much more difficult and risky than investing. Newbies particularly shouldn't jump right into trading cryptos, they should instead start from the basics and find what area interests them.

This forum actually offers a lot of ways to earn some crypto funds without investing money and taking risks.
I suggest you research the market section of this forum first.
If you know how to program, translate, design a logo etc. you can earn bitcoin with your work.
Signature campaigns are also a very popular way to earn crypto through writing on this forum.
Of course, for that you have to have a certain forum rank and reputation on the forum.

super nice article i would gave you merit if i have one  but to be honest i re-start journey on crypto at new year of 2020 with $0 money so i will give advice to newbie out there first never give up  pray and believe haha and keep do bounty and airdrop if u get money from there you can start trading and invest to othe platfrom like DeFi or other coin and get gain from it

I think at least get a job first if you don't have money to invest since every investments need some capital. And trading isn't recommended for newbies since they're most likely to lose it all on their first try. What they need is to invest time and effort to learn everything in a slow pace then start practicing trading on a demo account.

Back to OP, those new platform are good though but for someone as new like me it would require some time to get familiar with almost everything. So, if you a skills of writing and blogging those platform are good for you. And also just like what the above said, this forum gives more opportunities if you know where to find it here especially the marketplace board.

It is not only the destination that matters, but also the path you will take to get there - and that path is very questionable if you go in the direction you suggest. Not only participants can not be paid for what they do in most cases, but they will jeopardize their reputation in the forum by promoting projects that mostly turn into scams.

Do you believe that what you are promoting has any purpose or is someone just abusing Santa?

And like the others said bounties can be looked down on by the forum but it's mostly the managers at fault for those afaik (you just might not be able to rank up well too).

I tend to agree and it seems OP should add this to the OP list, not only those I personally don't know.

This forum is the first platform where I understand and start in cryptocurrency and where my mind sharpened not only on crypto even my writing skills and grammar were also improved.  I'm here without investment, totally scratch, or zero knowledge about crypto.  However, there are too many platforms that you can start in crypto without investment, like faucet and airdrop.

Actually, those links shared by the OP were right but for sure it requires more skills and talent in writing before you will earn free crypto in return on your service offered.

Yes, I agree. Investing is much easier. But, in my experience, investing can also be more risky, depending on what is being invested in.
When you learn to trade, you sometimes make money and sometimes you lose (ok, you lose more often than you make money), but when you invest, you can easily lose everything if you choose the wrong asset.

I've known steemit and it's really for those bloggers and writers that have a passion for writing. Instead of going with the platform, if I want to invest on it, I'll just buy but well, the point of the thread is about having no investment.

There's also latium's platform for freelancers. Although there are many of these that are existing with the same platform but they're paying in USD also with cryptocurrencies.

When trading, you can much more easily lose everything if you do not know what you're doing and choose wrong trading patterns. With investing you have a job to do your research and select a currency with a track record or based on the fundamentals; this is much easier to assess than in trading where you are attempting to predict the future price movements.

Someone can easily pick any asset in the top ten by market cap to invest in, and their investment would hardly go to zero, or do that rapidly.
Trading is much different.

Thank you for the new information. Allow me to share my experience jumped into the crypto world without any cent. I was doing some of the faucets before. I did PTC (paid-to-click) for BTC and other coins until I know about Raiblocks (XRB) or later called Nano. I also made a youtube channel, so my earning in crypto developed from there. Since then, I got some knowledge about gaining profits in the crypto world without any funds. I joined some of airdrops and bounties and I got the fees from those faucets. From the rewards, I also do some investments although I'm still not good at trading until now lol.

What if a person eager to start in crypto doesn't have the necessary writing skills to make his blog appealing? I mean, he should first somehow develop these skills by investing a lot of time in learning about how to write, what to write, why to write. Can it really be counted as "no investment"? Clearly, he will have to invest his time, which is a precious scarce resource by itself. On the other hand, if a person has the necessary writing skills, for example, he is a talented writer, he likely won't have any trouble with finding ways on how to monetize his skills. He may write a book, or he may write news/educational articles for magazines, or he may start his own blog. I would say, focus on things you are good at. If you have certain skills, sell them for crypto. If you have certain goods, sell them for crypto. If you can offer certain services, sell them for crypto. Or sell them for fiat and exchange them for crypto later. This is how people usually acquire their income, crypto hasn't changed things much in this regard.

OP invest of what exactly? Money or time can be an investment. If they don't invest with money eventually they will invest a lot of time into the project. Instead it's very important to invest strategically. The policies of the platforms listed on this thread are tentative. Their rules can change anytime and it will affect users generally.

The best way to go about this is to look for a service to offer all over the internet especially in this forum. One good thing about this forum, I noticed it not far too long ago. If you know a little about keyword research, publish your service on the appropriate section, given a few time let's say a month you will rank on google first page. This will fetch you a lot of income in bitcoin forever.

Being a bounty hunter always has the advantage. You can always earn coins.
This is for the ones who can write good articles. Actually, you can join an article bounty campaign for the new projects which if you happen to join a legitimate project the fee is much greater than the fee you get from the article sites like steemit or hive. I would recommend doing that more. As long as there are new projects, you are not out of the loop. And you stay updated with the new concepts in the blockchain industry.  If lucky you may also be able to find an article job on new sites.

They used to be good to get paid in crypto for the time you spend in those platforms only when Steemit was created and was super hyped. Nowadays it is more like a waste of time to spend in these platforms to post and try to make any money from your posts. Not to mention that because of their design, anything posted there even if it were valuable will have a low value considering the content. Which is why you never see anyone really post a link to an article in these platforms whereas you see a lot of reference to sites like stackoverflow, bitcointalk, medium or even reddit.

There are come and go social media platforms and each of them have their golden ages.

From what happened with Facebook and Twitter recent years, especially sinceTrump presidency so far, censorship and centralization are terrible factors. It destroys the freedom of speech. Creating a truly decentralized social media without censorship, hate, scam, etc. is challenging.

A project I am working with are aiming at building such. Their idea is great and obviously I wish they will succeed with their ambitious project. Let's see how ccFOUND can achieve it.

I think airdrops too can be a nod to start a cryptocurrency business without involving your own money ,also with bounty hunting but for hunting you have to work for it you invest your time. The disadvantage in hunting is you may wait for ever to receive your reward and some tokens won't be listed. Airdrops too have its problem because I'm yet to see someone gaining from it
