I am a user of Binance and AMM exchanges like Pancakeswap, I chose these two exchanges because they have low fees for withdrawal transactions, except for ethereum, the price will certainly be high for withdrawals.
i choose binance exchange because the trading volume there is high and i choose pancakeswap for new altcoins, there are many new altcoins in BSC network, this can help me find new altcoins for long term and hope that altcoins will be listed in top 10 other centralized exchanges soon.

The place i have for mind i trade cryptocurrency i decide to buy is binance exchange you can buy and also sell your coin, because they are their platform exchange is the best and popular any body know that any coin listed their Will have the potential, but coin base and huobi is good for trading of coin, i have mention like three area you can trade coin and feel relax for the transaction

Binance is the first choice to buy sell the coins because of huge liquidity. We generally need high liquidity to buy sell easily and Binance has it. Apart from Binance, I use Kucoin, Bittrex, Pancakeswap, Hotbit, and WazirX is my local exchange to convert my money into my country's currency. Rest it depends on the coins you have in your portfolio so you have to sell the coins where it's been listed.

The main choice for the exchange is binance because it has high volume and the listed coins are confirmed by the binance team so every project listed is reliable for roadmap development, I hesitate to trade new coins listed on other exchanges because there are a lot of "rugpull" meme coins listed by the community only for short term gain.

I frequently use crypto trading markets such as, Binance, Huobi and HitBTC. I use these three markets to compare the cryptocurrencies that I will trade, if I am going to sell Bitcoin then I will choose a market with a high Bitcoin price in that market and vice versa. Each market has advantages and disadvantages, for me the Binance, Huobi and HitBTC markets are very easy to trade in these markets and I feel more secure.

Kucoin and Binance are two exchanges that I have been using for a very long time, so what I feel is also almost the same as what you said, so it is true that some people who do KYC on these two exchanges are because it is safe and comfortable for Binance and Kucoin.

For long term holding i am using my own wallet because wallet is more safe than exchange . i am thinking for hardware wallet and soon i will convert into it.
For trading i use binance. World best exchange and high volume of trading.
I also use Kucoin,Gate,MXc but very less.

I am not that active of a trader but when i trade i mostly use centralized exchanges to be honest and there i mostly use KuCoin. I never had a bad experience with them and everything always worked there so far for me and they are really having a lot of coins listed there so even small projects are tradeable there in a lot of cases. I used uniswap only once or twice because the gas fees are just way to high for me personally. Yesterday i used pancakeswap and it worked great also with low fees, so it's no wonder why a lot of people and projects are switching to the binance smart chain network recently. Yesterday i also used bittrex for 2 trades and i have to say the fees there are pretty high like almost 1% per trade if you don't have those bittrex credits yet.
