PCI Riser USB Cable

Can you use any USB Cable for a PCI Riser ?
Because i bought one on amazon, and it was not working, my Mainboard was making noises.
But id didnt find anything in the Internet on Riser specific USB Cables.
I need a new one, because the 60cm from the standard one is not enough.

yes, you can use usb 3.0 to replace 60cm from riser, but didnt know how long the cable will running fine for mining, i'm using 1 meter cable and doing fine

on aliexpress is pretty damn cheap and free shipping, or you can request from seller to swap the cable for the longer one, if you buying later in the future

You can use any USB to USB 3.0 Cable to power the riser.Of course if the cable is from some brand is better than unbranded but I rarely have seen brands making this kind of cables which has very little use in the real world except in mining and a few other things.

A good brand that I have seen uses gold pins is UGREEN brand,maybe it is Chinese as many of these manufacturers but at least it is a branded one,you can have up to 3 meter type of such cable and it hopefully should work better than your unbranded cable.There are a lot of other brands but this UGREEN seems to be popular even in Amazon and Ebay different from the other manufacturers.

but my riser is not accepting them, everytime i use them, my mainboard doesnt load, and it makes this noise, that something is wrong.
Do you guys know why that can be ?

That is supposed to be a Premium cable so most probably you received a defective one.However I am running unbranded cables 1 M each Usb to Usb 3.0 and never had a problem with my risers.Of course I continuously upgrade risers to the latest versions,right now I only have 009S and 010 versions.Below a link to the cable most of us are using which comes with the risers we buy usually.

Buy a 1 meter cable on aliexpress.
I think your farm has more than 8 video cards, so 60 centimeters cables are not suitable for you.
But for most video cards this length will be enough, the longer cables are needed only for the latest video cards, if they are located in a row.
