Hey everyone! I'm just thinking about ways to help out the community. I was thinking, that there are quite a few generous people on here, yet there are also people who may struggle to hit a bill payment or something. Aside from a loan, I can't think of a way to really help this individual get out of this bind. This is what I suggest:

A full fledged donation site! You would get to create essentially a 'want' add, stating why you need the coins, and such. I'm also thinking that other coinage measures, and maybe even like a respect system (even rewards or something if it takes off). I'm hoping it would be a mutual, "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours," type of deal. The site would serve no intervention in the funds transferred.

I'm just curious, what would the interest of this site be (before I get to coding)?
Also, I'm not sure where to have posted this, so if there are any complaints on that, I'll move it.
Oh and if there is already a site like this, I didn't know, so let me know!

Thanks!

If you love me, you'd give me a Satoshi!

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

There is a very active charity related thread at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=52543.0

I (and many others) have committed hundreds (thousands?) of BTC to this charity related thread - come check it out and join us!

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!
