coinmarketcap or coingecko what you prefer or and why?
I don't have any preference now because I use them both. do you use other sites? why
I also use Nomics especially when Gecko or CMC are having issues. Apart from that, the website is simple and loads fast. If you are doubting the volume presented on those two data aggregators, you can also use this instead. Here's more on their Transparent Volume

coinmarketcap or coingecko what you prefer or and why? do you use other sites? why
I mostly used Coinmarketcap before as my main reference for any coin information. But as of now, my preference now switches to Coingecko. I don't know the specific reason but maybe I found the site more user-friendly and organized with a simple layout. I'm not saying CMC is not like that but it's just that, I'm now used to referring to Coingecko most. Regardless, both sites are good references. It's just a matter of self-preferences.

I don't really like coinmarketcap because I play on coins on a small scale. To be registered to Coinmarketcap is too much of a requirement. I often use coingecko or poocoin. Even Poocoin is very quick to get token information if it is on the bsc network.

coinmarketcap or coingecko what you prefer or and why? do you use other sites? why
Both have their advantage and disadvantage. There are some coins in coingecko that CMC haven't listed yet so I go to coingecko to check it there. It's also easier to do price checking with my own currency if I use CMC. Sometimes, there will be inaccuracy in both of them so I pre checking them both to accurately see the price. I also use other website other than this two.

Definitely Coinmarketcap.
It's been around for longer, has much better user interface, and is just generally more user-friendly.
I think that Coingecko does have a few more listed exchanges though so for microcaps you may find it easier to find exchanges with Coingecko. But those are the exceptions, not the rule.

do you use other sites? why
I'm using https://dropstab.comI like this site because it is possible to sort coins and tokens by directions such as DeFi, Yield Farming, BSC Ecosystem, Coinlist Launchpad, Infrastructure. I can also see how many projects in this direction Gainers / Losers. And I like this design more than other sites.

I prefer Coingecko over Coinmarketcap only because first one shows 1h price % updates, and (this might be really individual) coingecko loads data a bit faster. Besides that, I dont see any major difference between these two. They both show identically useful data. Both platforms has intuitive UI.
Coinmarketcap can annoy with "Today's Cryptocurrency Prices by Market Cap", but that can be hidden. Also news can be sometimes annoying or distracting for those who has opened page to check market situation. But this does not bother me much.

I use both. It depends on the coins I'm researching. If they're not on Coinmarketcap then I'll go to coingecko. The advantage of Coingecko is the mini version of Coinmarketcap itself. If we have difficulty finding it in Coinmarketcap which is usually a difficult asset to register there then Coingecko becomes the solution.
Many users say that Coiningecko is more real with the latest conditions, and many say that coinmarketcap has too many errors or manipulations, especially now that the trending tab, biggest gainers and recently updated, tab for trending and biggest gainers is certainly the best promotion for devs. so investors put their money there.

We can really rely on these two markets because coinmarketcap or coinecko have their respective advantages, and when checking a coin I always cross it so that they are always used, and for now coiningecko has been recognized by binance so it's easier for us to monitor every coin that exists However, for the features available in both markets, CoinMarketcap is more complete and easier to use, which is certain for now we can always rely on both of them.

prefer both I signed up on coinmarketcap because I'm interested in the airdrop other features I'm not interested in ,while I see coingecko to start taking some coin in the top 100-300 for the initial purpose to see prices and look for cheap coins that have potential in the future a kind of analysis not an expert

coinmarketcap or course, it's easier to use and I get used to it eversince.
I also check on coingecko sometimes for some projects that are not listed yet in CMC, but since I love to invest on projects that are already listed in big exchanges or with a decent volume already, then I can stick with coinmarketcap for all my needs in terms of information.

coinmarketcap or coingecko what you prefer or and why? do you use other sites? why
For years I was using coinmarketcap until I started noticing some discrepancies in the provided charts at times so I had to look for alternative, that was when I started using coingecko and I have never have any issues with it. I realized I still need to use Coinmarketcap because it provides more general information about a coin than Coingecko. So like most people here, I used them both everyday.

for coinmarketcap it is difficult to find new coins there, indeed because of the higher costs. this can be seen every time I get a new coin, only a small part can be listed on coinmarketcap. but if that happens, then it has the possibility to fly high, especially if it is going to be listed on a major exchange, then we can wait and hold on to it

of course coinmarket, even after it was hacked and the user database was made public. But in terms of convenience, it is perfect. I have been using it for more than 4 years and I like everything.

I'm using Coingecko the most and regularly. The reason why is that I find their data more reliable compared to Coinmarketcap's. Because sometimes, the data on Coinmarketcap stop working properly and show weird stats to investors. The reliability is the most important thing these days for investors to make their investments much better.

I usually only use coinmarketcap I think in coinmarketcap is great for investing with large funds. I doubt other websites because so far Coinmarketcap is very helpful to many people and has been trusted by many people to get information data from projects that are being researched.

I use both coinmarketcap and coingecko to compare the coin price and check the difference. Both coinmarketcap and coingecko give the data, although we do not know if that data is real or not but we can use it as our guidance besides analyzing the coin at the market. The design for both websites is good and it is a friendly user for people to search for the data. I think both sites is good for beginners but they must still analyze the coin at the market so they can get more info.

I think it all depends on habits, I've been using Coinmarketcap for a long time, and until now, I still prefer cmc over coingecko. In addition, I like to join in airdrop event and CoinMarketCap has an airdrop feature, and I don't know if there's an Airdrop on coingecko or not.

I mostly prefer to use Coingecko because it provides genuine information about cryptocurrencies and its easy to use interface is very suitable for me that's why Coingecko is always on top in my list, on the other side cmc has become a hype spreading and money making platform for its team they're getting paid to show various shitcoins on trending everyday which is absolutely a ridiculous way to make people fool.
