Seeking suggestion for NBA parlay betting competition.

I see that other sports already have some competition here hosted by trusted members, so I was thinking maybe we (the NBA fans and bettors) should also have one. The idea is a parlay competition as it's easier to judge and simple to understand for everyone, and of course exciting as well.

So it's a weekly competition, every participant can only post 1 parlay bet slip per day, no minimum required amount per bet as long as it's valid and can be verified. The highest parlay winning bet slip for the week will be declared as the winner and will get the total pool (less tx fee) from the entries of participants. 

For example.

Day 1 ----
Player A has a winning parlay betslip with a combined odds of 20.00 and Player A won the highest odds for day one, he/she may opt not to post a betslip on the following day until there's a new highest winning parlay betslip so he can still be in the competition.

The competition will run from Monday to Friday(weekly), winner/s will be announced every Saturday and winnings will be sent on the same day or before the start of the new week.

Participants can send their entry fees for the next week as soon as the weekly competition (MON-FRI) is over, whether winner/s are announced or not yet.


Deposit address: we can use an escrow or a member with a good reputation who is also active in the gambling section, or me if you trust my profile.

Registration fee : between BTC0.0002 to BTC0.0005 to make it affordable for everyone as I believe in the saying that "the more, the merrier".


Please share your thoughts and suggestions before we finalize this, probably we can start next week if we have a good number of members that are interested to participate.

This contest will be more interesting if you will make a minimum amount of bet per parlay so that there will be pressure for all the participants to not bet carelessly but wisely. Since this is a parlay bet competition, participants will usually just select some random parlay and do this many times using casino minimum bet just to get high multiplier bet slip. Actually this a good idea but you should move this on gambling discussion board since this  thread is not the actual event thread.

This is a good idea, maybe 1 USD equivalent for a single parlay bet is already enough, or we need to fix that to satoshi since the price is moving so it could go up or down from time to time. What matters here is the registration actually, so if the equivalent of registration is let's say $20, I think regardless of your parlay bet, you'll make sure you will try to analyze more before you place your bet.

If you already posted on the gambling section and moderators/admin moved that to this services board then do not move it to the gambling section. If you redo then you may got ban for 14 days or more. As recently one user has been banned for this type of activity.

I have not heard of anything like this and thanks for reporting, I will be careful in the future. However, in this case it is rather clear that it is not about services but about gabling speculation / prediction, so in my opinion this thread should be there.

Appreciate it, thanks for your advice, I would not push it through anyway as I see no interest. I might just bring this to our local section, maybe I'll get some gamblers who have an interest in participating.

I had not heard about that before being heard from one of my forum friend this reason to be banned from the forum for a specific time. He has been banned for this silly reason though it is not mentioned on the terms of the forum.

As it is gambling related but the post is on services section there is little chance to get the targeted people. In this case you may lock the thread and post on the gambling section by quoting the beginning post. But if you already get engagement on the local board then continue on there as this post is gambling related but also it seems like a service.
