I am now a Jr. Member. Congratulations to me!

The journey just began and I'm not looking back. I know becoming a Jr. Member is not a big deal and it doesn't mean anything to the senior members of this forum, having achieved that with ease many years ago. But it certainly means a lot to me. Therefore, I'm excited and I'm happy to celebrate this my little win.

30 days ago, I joined this forum with the plan to just hand around and try to learn one or two things about Bitcoin and Crypto in general. Then I made my first post and people started talking about merits which made me to understand how important it is to members growth. I can say for sure that this is one of the most engaging forum in the world, and by far the best Crypto community I've ever come across. I'm going to celebrate every milestone I achieve until I get to the Legendary

1. @LoyceV for assisting me in joining this forum. When the system held me back, he was the one that opened the door for me.

2. @Coupable for hitting me with the first criticism which lead to me understanding what Merit means in this forum and the important role it plays in taking up.

3. @Lovesmayfamilis and @Cryptoaddictchie for giving me my first merits and posting some useful links that helped me understand the forum the more.

4. @O_e_l_e_o and @LoyceV for giving me my biggest merits (4 each) till date.

5. All the fantastic guys who contribute invaluable posts and advices to help us understand and navigate the terrain.

Now, I'm getting gradually addicted.

Update 1: I'm happy to update you guys that I've become a member today, the 29th of December 2021, less than  two months of joining this forum.

You don't have to be hopeful. You'll definitely become a Jr. member if you make at least one post in the next activity period as you already have the needed requirements for the rank.
Copper membership is also another way to enable posting on the forum without needing to meet any activity or merit requirement. You probably don't need it now, but some other newbies could use the info.

Just kidding, they both usually come together, the more you learn and discuss, the more knowledge you get and the higher your rank.

Thanks for the kind compliments. I feel very motivated and hopefully, I'll keep on carrying on and keep improving. I still have a lot to learn in Crypto and there's no better place to learn than here.

Thank you Miguel. As someone pointed out, I think you're almost there, it's just a matter of days and few more posts. At the end of the days, the goal should be to participate and enjoy the discussions going on here. Share as much positive and informative content as you can, and keep learning. Every other things should be secondary.

The ultimate goal is to learn and discuss Bitcoin but you know, this is a post to celebrate my little milestone, that's why I had to talk about other milestones ahead. While ranking is important, it is by no means the ultimate goal of being here - I can assure you. There's so much to learn that I'm really feeling left out for many years. So, I'm learning and discussing as much as I can.

First of all congratulations to @Dripstoil for getting to rank of Jr member. Seeing your merit record you are all set to become Member, you need more posts for that (probably around 70 posts and 10 merits make it Member). Just keep contributing and you will get to the rank of Full member which will be a big success. Congrats and party hard.

A few days ago I got my 1st 2 merit in my post in our local forum and after that I received more 2merit in this forum .  I'm also very excited for incoming future . Congrats to you, but you must know that it takes far more than merits on the forum to be successful in the crypto network in general, you'll have to do a lot of research and study into the network, understanding all there is to, from the security protocols, to safe wallets to use and when and how to invest etc, the crypto network is really broad, so you'll have quite a lot of things to get abreast with, the forum by the way is a great place to get such knowledge and merits is also an integral part of the forum as it shows you're actually learning and making quality posts, so on that basis, well done and work harder.

To the OP, congratulations to you as well, take it one step at a time and you'll definitely achieve your desire, you're still relatively new, so it could prolly take you some time to adapt and grow in your learning, but if you put your heart into it, then you'll achieve it.
