When I turn it on the PMU lights stay on for 20 seconds and then the lights goes off. It says 0 ghs.

Recently I changed both PMU boards. I don't believe that all 4 hash boards are burned in a day.

The AUC3 converter and the controller work because I have another avalon 841 and it works.

If someone has any experience would be kind to share it.

Hi,
it gives you the ECHU code 131073 in the cgminer API log.
I have explained that particular code here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5325107.msg57013711#msg57013711

It's usually a sign for a faulty hash board.

But if you are sure the hash boards SHOULD be ok,
it can also be a faulty MM board (control board).

Do you have another MM board to try with this unit?

I have tried with a working MM board from a good known 841 and still the same thing. Maybe it can be a faulty hashboard, but why doesnt the other hashboards work? I think it is uncomon that all the 4 hashboards are faulty, what do you think?

Was it ever working?
Did something happen?
Since you have another miner can you swap the other hashboards into this unit?

Can they all go bad at once by itself? Doubtful, but I had a 721 have everything go bad when the power supply shorted out.
There was no physical damage that you could see on the unit itself and it booted up fine once I replaced the PS, but it never mined again.
It was old at that point and I didn't put that much time & effort into testing, but looked like the same issue you are having.

Firstly, be sure you have no pool access problems.
Check your DNS. If you are mining to any big pool that's based in China or any pool that has DNS in China that can fail connection.
Try mining to another pool.

Otherwise,
Careful of the PCI-e plugs.

They can be a bit dodgy after lots of plug+unplug.
(same on all miners of course)

With the power off, give them a bit of a wiggle, and then power it on again.
Boards will of course show as failed if there's not enough power to both of them due to PCI-e connection problems.
The two yellow/green lights on the back, sides, mean they are powered ok.

Actually not ECHU shows abnormal status it also shows ECMM[1] which is pointing to MM board issue or bad connection between the hashboard and MM board.

Sometimes if one of the hashboard is faulty it could affect all hashboard so I'd like to suggest to try to run the miner with only one hashboard(Test them one by one) and let see which one is the culprit.
I don't know if Avalon 841 can run with only one hashboard but you can try and update it here.

The miner was working before. I dont know what happened but the PMU got burned. Bought new PMU and this happened. Tried a working control board and it happends again. Tried to power on the hashboard 1 by 1 and it happens again.

I have the same issue with 5 devices due to pmu replacement and haven't found a solution yet. I think it has a solution, but it seems that no one here knows the solution and I have tried all solutions from replacing the control and the soft and bringing the pmu from working devices. It seems that the pmu is linked to the hashboard, so it only works with its copies, but I do not know what is the solution in this case
