Usually this is the right time to gauge the movement of the market. There's even reports that Monday is a good time to buy bitcoin, but we will have to see. It is the clearest choice that we have, after every fall there will be a big increase and after every huge hyped increase there will be a fall.

Considering December has been bad for us and November wasn't too kind neither, we had 1+ month that was bad and getting closer to two months now. Well, I think the bitcoin price will bounce back because what happened was a price correction. It's actually normal for the bitcoin price to fall during the correctional period because it would recover later. In every market regardless of the ecosystem, whether it is stock, gold, oil, or forex, there must be a price correction because the price won't go upward forever, it must come down at some point and then later recover by going upward again.

Not going to be the same December as every year. I remember very clearly during 2017 December we took a super high route and then in 2018 everyone believed that the same would happen, everyone imagined we would be going back, it was back to 6.5k or so, we were having hard time cracking 8k and always going above 7k and then drop under 7k and it was the price range for months, then when December came people imagined it would be awesome.

However, what they didn't realize is that Craig Wright had other plans. He wanted to take over BCH and he failed and just created BSV and during that time he sold thousands upon thousands of bitcoin to take over which failed, and that dropped the price a lot. Not all Decembers are the same, sometimes we go up, sometimes we go down and sometimes we stay relatively stable. I mean it is still not stable compared to something like gold, but compared to previous moves of bitcoin, it is stable enough.

Honestly the key word there is "for now", because we all know that with the right amount of hype, we could break over 50k and even 60k and to say even craziest, we could break over 70k. IMHO bitcoin will go up again like the previous year, based on the data the increase will go down first as what happen today.
But don't worry because this decline is still within normal limits based on data, there will be a decline to $40K-$42 then it will come back slowly and surpass ATH this year. I think there will be a brand new ATH in February 2022, we will see that later.

I have no doubts that during the next year we are going to see a new ATH for bitcoin, however when this will exactly happen is something that no one really knows, after all as you have pointed out the price is having a lot of problems to grow and each time the price goes above the 50k level the bears begin to push the price down as well, however the fact that they cannot push it below the 40k level tells me there is accumulation taking place, and once the whales are happy with their holdings the price will begin to go up once again.
