The $50k resistance is too big to conquer right now, the wall is big enough that we can't get over with. We have attempted several times already that I've lost count. So with that said, I think we are leaning towards a bear market next year. Again, this is just my personal opinion, take it or leave it, but at least I'm going to prepare myself and brace for a worst crypto winter.

Honestly the key word there is "for now", because we all know that with the right amount of hype, we could break over 50k and even 60k and to say even craziest, we could break over 70k. I am not saying that we will, but bitcoin world is capable of pushing prices to insane levels whenever we want to. Just because we haven't in a while doesn't mean that we won't, we could fail to do it 10 times but then on 11th time we would be able to get something a lot better suddenly and be at the top and breaking ATH and so forth.

This is why I believe that we should not be really focusing on something that people are not even worried about right now, breaking 50k is not the main issue, not being able to reach to ATH is the real issue. You may think "if we can't break 50k, why should be worried about 70k?" but the reality is that if we are capable of breaking 50k, that doesn't mean that we are forced to stay at 52k and stop there, we could go even further.

There's no reason to wait until bitcoin will dip as much as $40k because as you said, bitcoin may rise or fall and we nobody could really predict it. And as of my today's writing, bitcoin's market is slightly having an inclination and it's valued at a price of $49.8k (6.55% more than in past week) so now is still the best time to buy and hold before the December discount is over and maybe the price will recover in 2022.

I do not know where we will end, but I am pretty sure both could be achieved and it wouldn't change much. We could literally become 46k and then 55k and this doesn't mean that we will skyrocket and be 80k+ or something, or we could be 55k+ and then drop to 45k and it wouldn't mean we will crash and keep going down. Bitcoin is a weird thing when it comes to market movements, even though it is very volatile, it also doesn't move at all times like how you expect it to move, you expect it to move a lot differently and then it just stops.

Like we all know bitcoin is capable of going to 68k right? We saw it on the first 10 days of October and how it nearly did a 2x and then some in a very short span of time, then you see it go from 45k to 50k in an hour and you think "oh boy here we go!!!" and then it just stops. Why did the October one skyrocketed that much, and why did this one stopped? We have no idea.

I think it will not going to drop below $50k this time since it just got unlock a new level of resistance to unlock next time. I think we might as well see a price going up and down this time with a price of $50k to $52k and if not then it will proceed to break a new resistance again.
