It could just be a mere coincidence, just as the letter's of the word can be rearranged to give various outcomes, "media control" is just one of the possible outcomes. WHO however explains here  that for the purpose of aid to the non scientific community and to discourage naming viruses after their place of origin to prevent stigmatisation, it will name all variants of the Covid virus after greek letters, and Omicron just like delta is one of those greek letters.

I just spoke about this earlier in the thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5367680.0) and my contributions was nothing far from the possibility of more and more strands of the virus evolving over time. So, I'm not surprised to have seen this thread and yet hear of another strand of the virus. The authenticity of the whole covid thing has been and continues to be in doubt to most persons of the world which makes me think, how is it that, the virus continues to elude us still. I mean, we are no longer in the dark ages and the world as it is today has got smart people and scientists that are almost perfect in there fields but yet, somehow, the cure or proper vaccines are yet to be made.

This is why to some extent, it feels like the pandemic is just a death or killing tool for the government. You know, when ever they feel the need to depopulation an area, they infest the area with a new strand and the death counts begins. Who knows, its a cold world!
