Because we didn't anticipated that a new variant of covid-19 will be discovered. Omicron really affected crypto market and the rest of the financial instrument across the globe. It's just sad because we can say that December is really like very friendly, even during the bear market of 2018 and 2019, I remember that we have a good spike during this month. Unlike today that we've never seen an increased although it is really trying, at least bitcoin getting over the hump of $50k but it's a big resistance wall right now.

All the cooling and falling are for the purpose of getting those who can't hold on to get out of the car, and those who get in the car can get the bargaining chip with the least. This game rule has not changed since ancient times.

Crypto market is really unpredictable so be used to it. Dont expect history will repeat itself on the same month because its not going to be accurate.

On the other side, many investors are bullish that we might reach a $100k BTC price before this year end but I dont think it will happen this month. As we can see the price is moving sideways and there's no consistent increase.

Thus its better to go with the flow, forget the things that can affect you to hold and look forward for the time the market will become bullish again.

The current situation is normal, crypto has always been associated with pumps and dumps, but some investors are starting to understand how they can take advantage of the current situation.
crypto technologies and ideas like metaverse and web 3.0 are constantly being developed, this can push the coin price higher and reach your desired price target if you look at some past years experience.

It has revealed one thing, those shills on YT never had any idea of what actually happened in the market, in fact nobody does, it is a market where hype and trends seem to call the shots. So about time you unsubscribed to those "influencers" and all because they are only hollow vessels.

Truely this December has been different from the last few in crypto. I would assume the dump last week to be the reason to start this. Once a dump and correction happens the market may be a bit confused and go sideways. From there both up and down can happen depending on upcoming news, one of which is the Indian parliament deciding on crypto in India, there will be a bill passing.

Possibly the crazy memecoins that were making rounds have died out a bit too, so less movement coming from them. I got buy and sell orders on bitcoin at low and high points, suggest you do the same too. Either way it moves, you will have something to start with.

Things are very cozy right now. From past experience, we saw the market usually take correction in dec after 14 Dec. But this time it happens so early but the market is still confused about which side it will go on. The market is more matured now and people don't want to fall into bears trap. As long as the market won't decide its trend it will be wise to stay still and wait.

In the greed and fear index, it's in extreme fear. That means people are fearing about market bear trend and they sell off to prevent further losses. So I think it's a buy signal for us. Because whales always do the opposite of market sentiments.

One doesn't go every December. Even after that, some samples of the previous year can be seen again. The crypto market is bad again whenever it gets better. This is especially the case in December. But I think this time is much better than the previous time.

I still believe the market will get better and return to bullish , the price of bitcoin shows a positive sign yesterday before another correction ensued today, in the previous December price had not really dumped like this year, be as it may it doesn't take much time before a bullish  price turn around will be trigger, even with the likelihood of some hodlers exchanging their coins to fiat to celebrate christmas I don't think it consequence will have any major impact on the price of bitcoin, thus there is no cause for alarm.

Well, we can say that is the beauty of the cryptocurrency market. It is not very predictable, even when you think you know, a piece of single news from the right person/source can sway the market in the other direction but at the end of the day, we can confidently say that regardless of what happens, downward or sideways, the market will return when its time.

Seems this month a cold-weather came to the crypto platform, if you have the capacity to fill your bags with your favorite token it is now the right time to take action, but somehow to another crypto user that are waiting for a perfect time to sell then today is definitely not a good time for that. If you can still hold it for a quite long term it is better to hold for now but if there's already a need to sell then it's up to you, cut loss or stop loss or hold is just a matter of self-decision.

This December is different indeed. Usually last month of the year was a "green" month for all cryptocurrency. However this time tradition is broken. Even though trading never stops, I think we wont see difference in prices. January will run away quickly also. Dont really know how long the drop or stagnation will continue, but definitely we wont seek $100k by the end of this year.

I still believe that this is a time of transition. Believe it or not, this December will have a lot of surprises. whether it's good or bad, this will surely make the future of the crypto market even more excited. I saw a scheme that was quite extreme, fell and quickly got up. maybe it will be like in Q2 this year. where bitcoin stopped rising and fell by almost half, but surprisingly in Q3 bitcoin rose again and would eventually break ATH, although not that big but it was enough to make people believe that bitcoin is still valuable. and now I see the scheme will happen in the near future.

In my opinion, nothing strange is happening. The cryptocurrency market is still in an uptrend, and what we are seeing now is simply a correction. I think everyone is surprised that they expected big gains before the end of the year, and this is not happening. In my opinion, it is nothing bad, we will just wait a little longer for the increases.

Always expect the unexpected in crypto market. We cannot really predict that this December will follow the same cycle as the previous one.
Also, there is a lot of FUD in the community from past few weeks which has lead to a decline in most of the cryptocurrencies charts.
Right now we might be facing a correction but December is still not over. There's still half a month left which is more than enough to get some good pump in the market.
Even in there is no pump in the current month doesn't mean we won't see green charts the next month.
It's always an unexpected game of speculation in crypto.

In my opinion, nothing strange is happening. The cryptocurrency market is still in an uptrend, and what we are seeing now is simply a correction. Many people have the false idea that a bull run means that the price of bitcoin is making a new ATH every single day, but that is not how the markets work, there is some growth and then there is a correction and then this pattern continues for some time in which we make higher highs and higher lows, that is a bull market and this means that what we are seeing right now is nothing more than a correction, but eventually we will get out of it and the price will be headed towards a new ATH.
