Judging from the fact that this forum has been in existence for a while now and will be for say the next decade, and also that there has been over a 1000 insightful topics and counting from the mass of creative writers here always creating topics on certain subjects say - "Bitcoin discussion", "trading" etc

Is the possibility of all reasonable possible topics on a subject being exhausted getting realer by the day?

Are we going to be seeing more shitty post soon?

We are already seeing a lot. And, quite frankly, I must have also contributed a bunch of them.

Anyway, I think there is no way we could run out of more or less decent topics to be discussed, especially because we are not yet even hitting full throttle on Bitcoin adoption. We are constantly reading about how hyperbitcoinization is currently happening with banking and other institutions, traditional investors, wealth managers, and whatnots entering the market in numbers, but I guess we haven't yet started to see the full speed of Bitcoin adoption.

And also, there are of course new technical upgrades and developments to be talked about. Surely, Taproot must not be the last. Other than that, past topics could be opened once more for another round of discussion after fresh ideas, opinions, and viewpoints come about.

We could actually list unlimited possible topics to be talked about. As a matter of fact, one mention of Bitcoin of, say, Barack Obama, could spark a discussion. One price rally or a correction could be another. One faketoshi is definitely another. Not to mention that there is always a new crypto craze or fad, pump and dump shitcoin, hype innovation, and so on that emerge every now and then.

And China could ban Bitcoin once more sooner or later.

There's still going to be a lot of information yet to emerge about bitcoin and a lot of new advancements. The day the development and community goes silent is probably the prelude to bitcoins death.

The forum, its community and bitcoin's serves a bit of a purpose to be welcoming to newer users of the technology too.

We're presented with new information concerning news/regulations/development and whatnot like every week or every few weeks; so there will almost always be something to talk about.

As for shitty/redundant posts, yes, but it's not exclusive to Bitcointalk. People who don't search before asking questions suck but it applies to any other community.

If there's no more topics to write in this forum, pretty sure all thread will be locked/deleted since it's duplicate/already discussed. But the fact is, we've seen so many thread created not got locked/deleted... so it should be a new discussion.

Regarding the shitty post, I've said it multiple times... use report to moderator so his posts will be deleted.

Actually important topics have never been gonna be extinct since they are just easy to search. Use this function to find those topics that are related to you. Yes that's more easier than browsing on each board. That's definitely one of the reason a lot of topics duplicate since some don't using this feature, anyway we can't inevitably avoid shitty post, don't worry some users can probably reported that and mods will take care of that.

80% of what is discussed here has a real argument, only members are required to update the existing topic, but if you have something new about anything related to Bitcoin, crypto, trading and so on, of course you are welcome.

Maybe, what i see and there are always new topics nowadays in the section: (altcoin bounty, and services), maybe people are already smart all about crypto, want to be independent, so there are always new options there for now, it seems that for now new topics are popping up when a phenomenon occurs, seasonal, or you have to wait for the phenomenon to happen again before you see a lot of topics in a certain section of the board.

No, of course not. The world changes and with it change the topics to discuss. Even topics already discussed can be discussed in new threads depending on events. Bitcointalk discussions will have a long life.

To be honest, this thread is an example of what OP is talking about, thread that is opened when you don't know what to write about, but open a thread just for the sake of it.


@OP asking this question is like asking  "should we stop talking because I think (wrongly) that everything on every topic has been said already. Forum is  mean of communication, so as long people have urge to communicate, they will make new topics. After all, crypto industry is incredibly fast paced and there are so many things going on at the moment. So no, we won't lack good topics to talk about, we may only lack quality members to communicate with.

Shitty post start when user think the way you think when you create this thread. This is forum which mean a discussion for everything new. Crypto is evolving so there's a lot of new topic that can be discussed in the future if that's only your concern. The problem that you are raising right now is only possible if Bitcoin and all cryptocurrency is dead and no new update comes in daily basis.

There's a lot of crypto news being publish hourly. You can get topic out there to discuss here same with price speculation, TA/FA, new project and what's current trend. Maybe you are browsing same board that's why you conclude on this topic.

Some people are just spammers and some like to plagiarise, they are many on this forum, some will have two or more accounts to make their shit posts. Just that people like that are continuously opening account and are banned recurrently which later filters their accounts out of this forum unless they later change. Having another account after one of the accounts has been banned is ban evasion, it is against the rules of this forum but psychologically we know how people can behavior can be if they can be anonymous.

There are still many topics to bring to this forum, crypto is evolving and new ideas, news and many others are coming in, there are many things to talk about on this forum which makes many topics to be new and not what have been on this forum before. Some people do not know that this is a forum, just a place people need to get ideas and knowledge from each other.

This forum is also a place to ask questions, even if the question has been asked before, some people are new and can asked the questions again, but such topics can be locked very fast after people have answered and referenced to some paste threads.

We already discussed a lot about bitcoin and the blockchain technology a lot, technical knowledge and trading strategies etc but this is not the end because I beleive the real adoption is yet to come so we will have lot of discussion about the adoption, regulations and how governments are approaching the Bitcoin discussion, etc. Probably less topics but with more actual reason for discussing not just for the sake of discussion.

Yes, but not necessarily because there would not be enough good topics to discuss, more like some prefer non-topics and some prefer easy posts for a quick buck.
As somebody said, many things come out over and over again just because people prefer to ask again than search.

But new things come out.
People still have genuine problems.
The community keeps growing and some need personalized guidance (or just don't know how to search). Of course, newcomers are also prone to shitposts.
New tools are being created; people will discuss them, people will need help with them.

There will be good topics here, there will be shitposts here. There will be more people reporting 0-value posts too, or at least I hope so.

Is the theme created for beginners, and accordingly, it is designed and addressed to them?
Ask yourself, how many times do you see duplicate topics? Regularly? But why is this happening? Because even useful topics go down in history, and beginners are used to reading only what is on the surface. How many topics with good writers do they find? Therefore, themes are born again.
As a result, we have beginners who do not read, and the best topics are lost in the trash of all the stereotypical conversations.
Is it time to create a section where the "golden manuscripts" will be entered without the rest of the rubbish?

There is always news and there will always be news to write about,one thing will should know is that what to talk about will always come up everyday both good and bad,so what to write about will never be scared no matter what.

We will have new newbies in crypto and on this forum. So they have free rights to make posts, topics to ask newbie questions. I am sure, questions will be repeatedly asked because most of them don't do searching before asking.

An annoying issue is some of them know questions but try to create non-sense topics to ask, just for hunting merit.

There are shit posters and good posters who will mix the forum and badly most of posters are shit posters.

Overally, quality of forum is contributed by good posters and I think they are about 20% or less of all posters (current and inactive or abandoned / passed away members). It matches with Pareto principle and I proved it again in Merit earners & the Pareto principle

No that's not possible, it's just like saying new author of a particular field can't create something reasonable since everything may have touched, so it's all about who is writing it and not the fact that it's been touched, news are coming out daily about Bitcoin and crypto-currency, also alot of changes has happened and would still happen so good topics can never be exhausted, but if the forum is getting filled with spam -Newbies- that when we have a big problem.

Yea, most likely we gonna see more of these kinds of threads as you said it's shitty. How do you think the discussion would end even if there is people like you & me? People will create these kinds of threads and we will continue to reply. It will be repeated and repeated, if I or you do not repeat then someone else will do that.

However, every day we are introduced to something new, which means discussion will never end on the forum. The forum will be more developed and we might become more experienced. Just think the right way how can you contribute to the forum. That would great for the community.
