Why don't people understand the fact that fiat, way beyond any other asset generally is responsible for many terrorist fundings as well, not just something like Bitcoins. I do understand the reason why they might think that bitcoins might enhance that. But what have they done till now to prevent fiat being used in the black market??
Cash in Cash transactions are much harder to tackle since you cannot track. With Bitcoins the whole thing is stored in your address, which does make it a strong tool to fight corruption as well.
Bitcoins is the future of investments undoubtedly, the future of finance, it's one step more for the already existing system, thus support from that government is huge and essential as well.
