Yes, its common with newbies to loose patience and sell what they have at lose. Often newbies would be in a situation to ignore experts advises. Its normal but yes each has to learn from their own mistakes and spill outs. Only that experience will make them believe that they have to patiently wait. Everyone here including me should have come through such situation. If you’re talking about dollar-cost averaging (DCA) like buying more BTC, ETH or any long-term coins out there regardless of the price outcome, that would be great as long you are aware of the risks and has no promises or astronomical guaranteed returns. It seems that he can endure the risk because he already missed out the opportunity to sell but he is still holding up. He is also buying regularly without any doubts but if there is one thing that he needs to improve that is his goal of making a profit . He should lower it so that he can also experience to sell and enjoy the fruits of his efforts.

There are times or should I say year? Where cryptos are just too volatile, crypto traders are more favoured with this than the long term holders. buying more coins in my opinion is a waste of time, because we have to monitor everything and manage our assets,

There's still profit in savings but it's totally like cents for a year. The interest rate for savings is very low while the bank where you deposited your money, they're the one to maximize its profit through lending. Risk is always associated in investing and that's why there's the known quote about risk and reward, the higher risk you take, the better reward you can get but also, don't forget about possible losses. This doesn't count the scam ponzi schemes that they'll market about risk and reward, it's the wrong misconception and they are trying to fool people with that belief.
