As far as I followed, I came to this conclusion. These fluctuations are an event created by Whales. There are pumpings that will pull large investments from the market and buy cheap again. Nice moves.

But this limited availability doesn't really exist on exchanges. Most exchanges don't even have enough Bitcoin on balance (or crypto of any other kind). And knowing that most people would never actually withdraw the crypto to their own wallet, essentially I think most exchanges run without the collateral 1:1 and people are buying more crypto than is available.

Hence the supply doesn't become a real factor unless everyone did non custodial trading.

I think what he means is that there is lots of scam projects now, copy cats, meme coins than before because back in time all that we have are only coins that are original and have a true purpose. All of those coins are now successful and called as top coins now, they are coins like btc, eth, ltc, xrp.

Legit cryptos are not similar to pyramid schemes that people that are lucky to enter early are the only one that can make a profit but all of us has a chance here, it is only a matter of patience and then the ability to increase your learning if your still a newbie in the scene. We that are now pro are once a newbie, so newbies should not be afraid to loose and try again.

You may have a point there however even if the number of scams was lower as even scammers were not aware that this market existed, that does not mean that every single project was successful, just to give an example the first altcoin ever as far as a I know was a coin called namecoin, and it was successful for a time, and even if the last time I checked it still existed it is very far away from the coins you mentioned, so it is likely this happened to many other coins as well.
