I don't know too on how they cope with it but it's likely these people goes underground just to have a piece in the market. It's totally not the same with CEX, you can learn more about DEX here, and just research more you'll definitely find lot of articles regarding DEXs.

So if the OP is looking for DEX, there are a lot of options now, but you need to check their fees and liquidity of the tokens that you want to swap with. Each DEX has their own pros and cons, and it depends on the user what he is looking for or what tokens he is about to trade with. Using DEX platforms, you need to create your own wallet via MEW, Metamask or Trustwallet, whichever is convenient for you. Just remember, you need to secure the keys or passphrase once you create one. Also, check the network you are in, eth mainnet, bsc, matic or others.

Though quite dangerous(because some exchanges do sudden KYC), then can even use exchanges that doesn't require KYC like KuCoin. They just need to use a VPN through a VPS or something; so it would be a lot harder for the authorities to find out about the activity.

But yea, they can also use top DEXs such as UniSwap/Sushi; but they're pretty much barred from non-wrapped BTC.

They most likely used VPNs and non KYC CEXes for trading since DEXes are not ment for this purpose due to low latency and missing order book. They are ment for middle/long term investments.

For dexes pancakeswap is the best place to go to learn and practise. Or 1inch dex aggregator.

I would awoid uniswap/Sushiswap since they are build on ETH where blackchain fees are so high that each trade cost like 20-100$. You can trade most of biggest ETH altcoins wrapped on BSC chain for 0.5-1$ per trade..

As far as I know, a lot of VPNs are banned in China now, so if they do find a good VPN, they would still need to find a way to transfer fiat for crypto and back. This could be done directly by cash though. As far as trading on Dapps is concerned, they can easily use something like trustwallet and an aggregator like 1inch (to find the best swap price). So trading crypto to crypto anonymously and decentralised is not a problem.

I have been using Pancakeswap and Apeswap since early 2020 when DEFI sector came in lime light and my experince so far has been wonderful because i joined very early when CAKE price was few cents and today it is around 11$ and its ATH was 44$. Both of these DEFIs have paid good daily rewards without any interruption. I think timing is very important when you take entry in DEX or other crypto coins/tokens.
